If your legs are long enough, you can straddle the pedal board and just lift up, slide out, and move all at once. :-) It's a little easier and actually is less risky on the pedal tabs.
I used to oil my CV in the cups on top of the generator and wet the felt by the scanner... Also Hammond oil does not have wax, the wax in other oils can actually plug the cotton threads!
If you do oil your Hammond at the funnels on the generator you fill them twice, they are smaller than the brass oil funnels on top... Those brass funnels have tubes that let the oil drip in the funnels on top of the generator!
