A well-done snow effect I can appreciate. But do many people do this for tabletop armies? I ask because I imagine the snow effect looks really out of place on any table that doesn't look snowy/icy.
@Davetacular45 Thanks for the kind words. I have seen some do this as for a space wolf look but yes it does look out of place with a differnt tabletop but i have had a snow table top which is why i did it in the first place. But i have redone this as it was out of place and needed to be redone anyway.
do u use citadel snow? because i tried using that stuff and it looks like freaking white grass and not like snow at all lol, and i also play Space wolves, and snow on your bases is a must.
@thewowzer12 no i Dont I use a Mix of Bi-card soda , white paint and white pva glue. But you Can achieve this with the citadel snow all you have to do is get some of the citadel snow and add some glue and mabey some water depending on how thick you want it. This link is the same method that i use and will demonstrate how i do it : /watch?v=fgFBeq2ry0s .
i love your painting nothing to do with your work, but i always thought the models look so still they just have no looking like they are moving the i think you snow effect makes them look frozen but i love the paint job though
