how come only australia has seagulls do ull sort of put bird feed on the ground ? many stadiums in the world are sea facing but bcoz of the seagulls ur stadiums r an absolute pleasure to watch
Rob, do you have the video where Hogg hits Richards on the head, and he hits the next ball for six? I have seen multiple references to it, but have never seen the clip itself.
@ghabcdef been trying for years to get it, ch 9 doesn't have ANY footage from test anymore, it was all lost. thats the ONLY test they don't have since they started televising cricket.
Viv;s fearless approach vs the fast bowlers of the day is what rates him#1 in my eyes, these days if dudes like Sehawag, Gayle and Jayasuriya can get 300's shows the paucity of fast bowlers
Nobody, but nobody plays a shot like that these days, No effort whatsoever, no baseball-like swing, and the bats were not as prepared as they are now.
@robelinda2 and a lot of people say that the pitches in the 70=80s were slower and less sporty than those of today so batsmen back then had to face balls slower than todays batsmen. But also thats why bowlers nowadays clock higher speeds on their bowling.
i am a huge west indies fan.. and mr. robelinda2 you are my greatest hero of all time.... i wish the west indies could accomplish pass accolades.. but while they work on that, i shall visit your videos and relive the past accomplishments. much love
Thanks a lot, Rob, for these videos of Viv Richards...I've always read about how he can be intimidating with his presence, but this is the first time I'm actually seeing it....thanks again for these videos and, if there's any way I can "buy you a beer", do let me know! :)
@superthiru I watched them all through the 80's -- Viv was simply a cut above the rest. The only player I have since seen hit as cleanly is Adam Gilchrist; both had incredible timing, Richards perhaps a touch more power.
Is Rodney Hogg related to Brad Hogg?
