That is called T9 feature and is available in most of all mobile phones...

T9 is not a feature... T9 is the version of texting where you push numbers multiple times to get letters to write words... Unlike QWERTY, which is the full keyboard...

i have to say i have this phone and its pretty tight ive been using it for 3 months and i dropped bout 20 times and still works fine and i txt during school and never get caught cause its so nice and small but now im getting the lg neon because i want something nicer

I have this phone. I have another prepaid plan when I travel to where verizon doesn't work, I had a motorola c168i first and then the screen shattered. I was left looking for another phone until I found this phone at a store for just 20.00 I now have this, a samsung sync as backup, and my voyager. The nokia 260 may be simple, but it is great for the senior citizen or simple phone user that may want it.

a little bit, it was temp. because my nokia 6085 charger broke, I know have a LG Vu, that I go for free, just had to pay for the accessories: belt clip, and memory card. which only about $5 more than the phone itself with one upgrade.
