I think having dual drums and a keyboard both adds and detracts from the song, because we're so used to hearing a much harder sound from the guitars and John's base, but at the same time, it gives it a more friendly quality having the keyboard in the background.
Just to clarify, this is from a performance by Ringo Starr and his All-Starr Band. John Entwhistle is the special guest bassist and lead singer. The two drummers are Ringo and his son Zak. Yes, that is Billy Preston (one of several people referred to as the 5th Beatle). Randy Bachman of Bachman-Turner Overdrive. Zak, by the way, was a dsiciple of both Ringo and Keith Moon.
I like the double drummers. The only other time I've seen double drummers was when KISS did MTV Unplugged and Peter Criss joined Eric Singer for the last two songs with Ace Frehley and Bruce Kulick. The only other live version of this song that I like better was back in the '70s. I think it was the Ox's best song.
Think this was one of the two Buzzards that Modulus made for him. The Warwick didn't have such a wide angle the headstock, and by this time he was using the graphite-neck Modulus Buzzards before moving to Status Buzzards in '96.
Keith Moon is much better than Ringo Starr... my opinion!!

I do believe I just say Richard Starky! Amazing. This band could only be better if Jimi Hendrix was playing harmonica.

I saw this tour also! Billy Preston on keyboards and Mark Farner on Guitar. I could be mistaken but I thought Randy Bachman was on this tour also.
