I know Calvin and i have watch Dave but those are different styles Calvin has played Gospel and R&B Dave on the other hand plays structure type grooves.If any body dont know Calvin pick up John P kee album.

Well Calvin is a great drummer but he could have done better on this one but he has others that will have you amazed! By the way they guy you talkin about it pretty good to I heard a lot of his solo's and his name is spelled Dave Weckl... Anyway do talk down about a drummer if you havnt heard a lot from him check out some of Fred Hammond music and you will see! To all my drummers yall stay blessed! 100

Dave Weckyl's pretty awesome too! I can see them more of on the same level though! Believe me, you should watch some of Calvin's more intense drumming sessions, u'd change ur mind :)

calvin has been a beast on the drums for awhile now. urban knights, john p kee, fred hammond, kim burrell, bishop larry trotter. I had the privilege to talk to calvin awhile back, he is a cool down to earth brother. His style has changed a bit but he is a true inspiration.

thats why they call him THE CALVIN RODGERS.... not alot of other drummers can do alot of "licks" without a mid tempo swinging 4/4 groove.... he is a master drummer..and growing....

@GRACEtoHOPE Drumtechs set up the kit,tunes the kit,breaks down the kit fixes anything that falls during the performance so the drummer can just play the music and then relax afterwards.
