The First Prophet of the Mormon church had a letter read in every Mormon Temple telling Mormons that it was their religious duty and obligation to donate time and money to pass Proposition 8. Many gays do get married in churches, and I have yet to hear of a case where it was by an anti-gay church. Suprise, but many churches want to marry their gay couples ... and you would have a hard time finding anyone, gays included, that want to force themselves into a hostile situation for a wedding.

If you believe that no one has a right to condemn or judge your sexuality or what sexually arouses you, and that you should also have rights to marry the same sex, then who would you be to judge those who are sexually aroused by animals or toddlers? It would seem that you consider all Christians to be Catholics. Catholics aren't the only Christians, and the Catholics are the only Christian denomination with such a large record of child molestation. Aside this, these acts are performed by individuals, and are not condoned by the church itself, but are, on the contrary, condemned.

BTW: And if I sound harsh on Christians, its largely because (outside of that many deserve it and their often flawless arrogance needs to be challenged) they are easily some of the least Christ-like people one can find.
