also, you're supposed to START playing drums with a simple kit. i started when I was 11 and played with 3 toms, a snare, a bass drums, a pair of hats, a crash and a ride. fair enough. a few years on, i'm still playing with the same tom, snare and bass configuration, still playing with a 16" crash, but i've got a crash ride instead of a ride and a splash cymbal.
this whole concept is wrong. he's 4 years old, and he's...well, for a starter, he's already been pushed into playing drums. and he's also playing crazy train on TV. has he given a straight insight into his opinion on this? NO, because he can't. he has no control over what he's doing or saying at this age, simply because he's still a toddler. see where i'm coming from?
