Expertvillage sux, but this is pretty decent. A friend of mine threw a 330 ft. ace @ European Open with on of these. slightly downhill and dead straight.
I throw a star TL instead for basically the same types of shots, low and straight.
@frolfhaus21: I agree. Like the teebird it is very easy to overpower the disc especially in DX plastic or if beat.
Ya I couldnt disagree more. This thing is nowhere near overstable. Its extrememly understable for me anyway, this thing turns like a bitch so I don't know where this guy is getting this from. The thing with this disc is that it turns and maybe when its 70 or 80 percent done with its flight readjusts itself from the huge turn and fades quite abit at the end Innova shows it being right in the middle of the chart of over/under stable
@Malmsteen734 Yours is most likely beat in too much then. I definately wouldn't say it's overstable, but not understable either. It should just be holding a nice straight like with some fade at the end.
i dont understand why this guy is making these videos and informing people incorrect information.. in another video of the star destryoer he says its the most overstable disc ever made.. and here he's saying the star eagle is a distance driver... wrong... and overstable.. wrong.
the only way i can understand why he thinks all discs are so overstable is if he just started playing 2 weeks ago and has a noodle for an arm throwing 175g stable discs that will dive down right away.
i think its great that he's doing these videos, but i fear that he's informing people incorrectly as this disc is stable more so for beginners & intermediate disc golfers whereas it would be considered less stable with someone that has more arm speed... nevertheless, its a great fairway driver (along with the teebird, my favorite!)
i just got the new destroyer, its awesome. it flys similar to the Wraith but just different enough to make a big difference. the wraith will usually hang out before fading but the destroy fades a little quicker but its still a big difference

@Zurion1 Your opinion couldn't be further from the truth. Disc golf is a male dominated sport... not that the ladies aren't welcome.

I hang with John every day and he has helped me throw 300-310 on a good low controlled throw. He is a great teacher and a great friend. A.K.A. Alex
