people with small noses don't really realize how hard it is to go threw your life being called "big nose" and just knowing how beautiful you would be if it was gone. The nose is the center of the face its what brings everything together, so no matter how great the rest of your face looks your nose will make it look down graded.

My nose looks a bit like ashey's "old " one. i think mine is even bigger. And i have a very bad deviated septum, too. so i asked the doctor about surgery, and if the nose's look would change by that. and he said that the change would be only INSIDE the nose, and you won't see anything on the outside.. so i wonder why ashley has such a small nose now. because she said that the change was a side-effect of her surgery for her deviated septum.... it's a bit strange..

ur nose is better now cuz it was kinda big before...plus the truth is that she had to get the surgury done cuz shy had this problem with her nose that only allowed her to breath out of one nostril...it is pretty common so this helped her heath!
personally i think she looked great before the nose job, she still looks great now but i liked her before nose. coming from someone who is self concious about their own sniffer, she was an inspiration to us all. now shes just another plastic fantastic. i think her nose is a little small now, and the wrong shape for her face

Many people have a deviated septum and don't even realize it. Those that do can have trouble breathing out of one side yet can still breathe out of their mouth. Surgery for this generally does not change size/shape of the nose but many that get it choose reshaping while under the knife.
Exactly right! Surgery for a deviated septum doesn't change the shape of your nose. It sucks having a deviated septum!!!! I'm opting for balloon sinuplasty instead. Less bleeding...
@scrumps101 I so agree with you, it's so annnoying when celebrities are hypocrites when it comes to rhinoplasty like saying it's because of a "deviated septum" (deviated septum removal doesn't do ANY change to the exterior part of the nose), "didn't have the surgery out of insecurity blah blah. They should just own up to it and say they did it for cosmetic reasons...
@scrumps101 Yeah, I have a deviated septum, and I said to ENT doc, can i get a nose job and he laughed. He said, it is for severely broken/missplaced and rebroken noses. So 'deviated septum' is a plastic surgery code word for rhinoplasty, everybody does it, and everybody says it. It's like when you get your breasts done and tell the insurance company you were just 'evening them out.'
I can see what people mean when they say "oh but she wasnt happy with her nose before so why not get a nose job" and i totally agree with what you are saying if she felt that strongly about it then its up to her. But i really dont think there was any need for her to have the surgery done. She was beautiful before, she still is, but she has lost her "Ashley Tisdale" look. There's something about her and she just doesnt look as sweet and innocent now. But if thats what she wanted then good on her.
She didn't have to get the actual nose job though.. having a deviated septum fixed doesn't mean you HAVE to get a nose job. I know this because my aunt had it done.. she went into surgery and the suggested she get some extra work done on her nose and she said yes, she coulod have chose not to though. But anyway, it was Ashley's personal choice and I don't look down on her for it, I just think she should be a little more honest about it.
She had a deviated septum...you don't need a nose job to correct that.
I do think that if her old nose was bothering her , she should just come out and say that. But, it fit her face so well and now she has a "Who" nose. It's unfortunate but true.
But if she's happy and more confident with it, then good for her. I don't believe in plastic surgery too much, but I've had to myself to be more confident about myself (I had a bilateral breast reduction). It can really help people out.
Just because you have a large nose doesn't mean you can breath through it. More often then not... that is the initial reason for the surgery. But if you have to through all that you might as well have a little tweaking done.
If your nose makes you feel really depressed then why not get surgery? As for the people saying it's the way god made you I'm guessing they don't have big noses and you wernt constantly bullied at school for it. Oh and God doesn't create how we look, that would be our parents genetic DNA. Get a biology text book it will explain all, no magic or religion involved at all.

Exactly right! Surgery for a deviated septum doesn't change the shape of your nose. It sucks having a deviated septum!!!! I'm opting for balloon sinuplasty instead. Less bleeding...

@scrumps101 I so agree with you, it's so annnoying when celebrities are hypocrites when it comes to rhinoplasty like saying it's because of a "deviated septum" (deviated septum removal doesn't do ANY change to the exterior part of the nose), "didn't have the surgery out of insecurity blah blah. They should just own up to it and say they did it for cosmetic reasons...

@scrumps101 Yeah, I have a deviated septum, and I said to ENT doc, can i get a nose job and he laughed. He said, it is for severely broken/missplaced and rebroken noses. So 'deviated septum' is a plastic surgery code word for rhinoplasty, everybody does it, and everybody says it. It's like when you get your breasts done and tell the insurance company you were just 'evening them out.'

I can see what people mean when they say "oh but she wasnt happy with her nose before so why not get a nose job" and i totally agree with what you are saying if she felt that strongly about it then its up to her. But i really dont think there was any need for her to have the surgery done. She was beautiful before, she still is, but she has lost her "Ashley Tisdale" look. There's something about her and she just doesnt look as sweet and innocent now. But if thats what she wanted then good on her.

She didn't have to get the actual nose job though.. having a deviated septum fixed doesn't mean you HAVE to get a nose job. I know this because my aunt had it done.. she went into surgery and the suggested she get some extra work done on her nose and she said yes, she coulod have chose not to though. But anyway, it was Ashley's personal choice and I don't look down on her for it, I just think she should be a little more honest about it.

She had a deviated septum...you don't need a nose job to correct that.
I do think that if her old nose was bothering her , she should just come out and say that. But, it fit her face so well and now she has a "Who" nose. It's unfortunate but true.
But if she's happy and more confident with it, then good for her. I don't believe in plastic surgery too much, but I've had to myself to be more confident about myself (I had a bilateral breast reduction). It can really help people out.

Just because you have a large nose doesn't mean you can breath through it. More often then not... that is the initial reason for the surgery. But if you have to through all that you might as well have a little tweaking done.

If your nose makes you feel really depressed then why not get surgery? As for the people saying it's the way god made you I'm guessing they don't have big noses and you wernt constantly bullied at school for it. Oh and God doesn't create how we look, that would be our parents genetic DNA. Get a biology text book it will explain all, no magic or religion involved at all.
