  • They're training against other F-15Js. This isn't DACT.

  • Awesome video. Glad to see it not ruined by music !

  • Nice camera footage.

  • @yukikaze775

OFS ! 1st time I saw an F-15 was back in 78 or 9 at Taegu AB, SK. Came in flat down the runway @ about 7 mtrs. Halfway down the runway the pilot does a 45 straight up and out of sight in nothing flat. Just amazing!!

Would hope to see more of these from you. Arigato gozaimashita, ne?

  • luv it man

    thanks for sharing!!!

  • AMAZING SOUND!!!

  • finally some good videos without any kind of fancy music! thank you! more of these please!

  • crazy - I dont know if its my imagination, but the paint scheme on those F15s so really make them look like Mig-29s. When they first showed up in the vid, I really thought I was seeing Migs - just for a sec or two.

  • Sorry I added Music on top of your great video (I posted what I did as a video response), I didn't remove the original audio!! But I couldn't resist, the footage was so beautiful. Many Thanks for sharing!

  • so cool!!! JASDF kicks ass

  • 1. Its not DACT (Disimilar Air Combat Training) if you're flying against the same aircraft type.

    2. Even Bitching Betty seems to have a Japanese Accent in the dogfight... "BingGGo Fuel"

  • randomusprime

"Thank you for keeping the original audio. Great to hear the jets without blaring music!" So much better isn't it without some awful rock or techno crap blaring away.

  • The sound of jets is music. The great sound of power and grace. F15's are hot. :)

  • Thank you for keeping the original audio. Great to hear the jets without blaring music!

  • "man fuk Japan USA #1"

I'm an American and I'm down viting this stupid comment...

Japan is a great ally of ours, we need the Japanese, the Koreans and Australians, etc.

  • ur a frikin idiot. we sold those fukin jets to them. and yes they are great allies. u obviously dont know what your talking about.

  • Loved every minute of it. This is my 4th time to watch it. Those JASDF boys sure know their business. Japan is in safe hands with these boys around.

  • Great video! Thanks a lot for sharing it with us.

  • 1st rate quality. Great audio.

  • really good footage and of course without the music. Thanks for sharing.

  • Wow, that was really great footage.

  • This is a great video.

  • Very!!!

  • nice f-15J

  • why is this DACT when both sides are using F-15s?

  • Because one side has the numbers advantage

  • Excellent! You let us see this beautiful machine without any dumb music or hype. Air to air footage super impressive. Sound overdubs very authentic. ( not over done ) A+

  • GEILES FLUGZEUG KAUFEN :-P

  • Sugokatta!

  • EXCELLENT raw footage! Thanks for posting this.

  • You people should take these planes and pilots to Takeshima to defend your sovereignty!

    Go Japan!

  • I love this video, whenever I fell like seeing an F-15, I watch this. Wicked video, thumbs up to JASDF.

  • Thumbs up to the JASDF, they flew the hell out of those eagles

  • this is the best video of f-15 eagle in action what i see in the web

  • yea.. wat eva he just said...

  • One of the BEST flight videos I have seen, no music crap, just the lovely sound of some great planes & some great pilots. Nice video.

  • f15 fastest top speed at high alt 2660kmh

  • korea and japan are both good country so save it for a political chat room. just watch the viedo

  • That rates pretty high on the list of Stupid Comments. I now know that the world is just as ignorant as you claim yanks to be.

  • Check out the left AIC Air Inlet Controller scheduling at 2:42.

  • 2;42 badaass good eyes :)

  • 5:39 another

  • Greatest deal ever. They can't develope "offensive weapons". We do it for them. There is no reasonable arguement that an f-15 is a defensive weapon. If China decides to take Japan, a few of these won't stop them. My grandfather who flew against the Japs is spinning in his grave right now. History is doomed to repeat itself if not taught, and they are not teaching Japanese children about WW2. We don't even teach our kids about the Pacific theater campaigns beyond Dec 7th.

  • What good does it do to teach middle and high school level students about suicidal japanese offensives? Thats why it's saved for COLLEGE and Military Academies and training.

  • Not all students will attend college/Military academies. There can be much more taught about the Pacific Theatre of Operations than just the Kamikaze or banzai charges.

  • I agree. And those who dont attend college, normally wont hold a job or position requiring that sort of knowledge. I believe it is something that should be taught, but there's just no real relevance for it these days.

And my senior world history class actually spent two weeks going over the Pacific Theatre. I've also spent countless hours reading and writing reports on it for college classes. The resources are there, you just have to hold yourself accountable for learning such.

  • But their ignorance will be reflected by the votes they cast, & America & the world will feel the negative impact of their ignorance.

  • As of November 21, 2007--219 of the 224 E-models and 294 of the 442 A-D models have been inspected and cleared for flight.

  • As of December 10, 2007 (according to the news) all but the E models were grounded again.

  • my dad was telling me about the f-15s being grounded. why did they need to be inspected ?

  • There was a ANG crash in Louisiana that appeared to be from structural failure behind the cockpit, (given the age of the F-15 design, not surprising.) F-15Es and mission critical F-15s are still cleared for flight.

  • It was not a design flaw, but it was because the air frames are old; they were built in the 80's.

  • The good news is that as of January 08, 40% of the A-D models are back up.

  • A Hawaii ANG F-15 crashed last week during a training mission. The pilot is OK.

Hope this means more than 180 F-22s. :)

  • Was it due to the cracks in the longeron problem?

  • It was still under investigation last I checked. The pilot could not control the plane so he ejected.

  • Thanks, doesn't sound like the longeron issue as that would have resulted in a structural failure.

  • I just say F-15 Eagle and F-14 Tomcat.

  • Awesome vid

  • Japan is the second largest operator of F-15 Eagle, with over 203 in service. Japan is trying to lobby the F-22 and I hope that they do acquire them.

  • The Air Force suspended non-mission critical F-15 flight operations on Nov. 3 following the crash of a Missouri Air National Guard F-15C aircraft Nov. 2.

The cause of that accident is still under investigation, however, preliminary findings indicate that a possible structural failure of the aircraft may have occurred.

  • Poor things are really old the last one was made in 1984. We should buy some new ones from japan lol.

  • umm, sorry, but the last USAF F-15Cs were 1986...and we have E models that were made in 2004...

  • How many E models do we have?. I know we are scrapping all but 1ike 170 of our F 15s.

  • whoever said that don't know what they are talking about. Pretty sure I would know being I'm an F-15 crew chief...

  • Hey! Did I hear that correctly? Does "Betty" have an an accent on these JASDF airplanes?

    "bingo fuel, bingo fuel"

  • Thanks so much for not ruining it w/ dumb music or silly f/x.

This is the model for all uploaded AF/Mil videos. Thanks. Good work!

  • This is an excellent video, with REAL ACM, not fake. Too often fighter vids are hacked together garbage set to "Danger Zone" music, and the airplanes are always too close together. What you see here is what a good training mission looks like in real life.

  • Well, they glamour it up. Can't blame em. Top Gun was fun to watch but nothing to be taken seriously. Same thing with the majority of the videos on here.

  • Japan will get the F-22. Long live the Japan-U.S. Alliance!

  • Really?

Can't argue with that kinda logic...

  • Aaah...no. F-22's will not be sold to foreign powers.

  • you loose ! Japan get allready the raptor !

  • No, check again...Congress has not allowed the sale of the Raptor to any foreign nation. The Raptors in Japan are U.S. owned and U.S. flown.

  • you are right ! but i am sure that japan will get it ! us gvt have no choice !it will take 1or 2 years ! but they will get it! cause Japan cannot develop their own military complex since 1945 ! and us must support and give them what they need !

  • Hence they will get the F-35 and maybe the F-22 at a later date. Right now Congress has barred all foreign sales of the Raptor (and they are just the first step to clear.) Approval must also come from the Department of Defense (which shouldn't be a problems as they want our allies to have them...drives down the cost of our own planes and assures there will be a stockpile of parts if ours ever have to deploy.) And approval must come from the State Department (Foggy Bottom to those in the know)

  • Personally, I would like to see Japan with their own F-22s but I just don't think that's going to happen in the near future. It's too much of a "trump card" right now.

  • hi dat8r1, Japan will not purchase the F-22 but will build its own stealth fighter which is still under testing. It has made its 1st flight n will go through weapons test. Nice fight with wjli2

  • jayraptor2 ah ! ok ! great ! thought that japan cannot built its own stealth fighter cause since 1945 , you know why !

  • Japan's Constitution prevents arming for offensive capabilities, not defensive. An indigenous stealth fighter can be seen either as offensive or defensive (depending on how you look at it.) With North Korea as a neighbor, I don't think the rest of the world can fault Japan should they build their own stealth or buy it from America.

  • yeah ! of course ! the Allied nations will support japan ! don't forget China ! think north Korea will be out ! they need usa help to eat now !

  • danger will come from China in the future ! hello from France ! dat8r1 ! R1 is my yamaha R1 !!!crazy bike !

  • And hello to you too from the U.S. China can pose a military threat but I just don't see them becoming one in the near future. North Korea, on the other hand, can become a problem very quickly. The need for food and resources have always been a determining factor for nations gonig to war.

  • I used to have an RR1000 Battletwin, got me into too much trouble.

  • Mitsubishi is building a stealth fighter already...... saw it on the defense agency website through a wikipedia link... it will be ready in 2014 bu tthey want to see if they (Japan) are able to make an indigenous stealth fighter. look it up it is called the Mitsubishi ATD-X.

  • Japan which came to have difficulty with deployment of F -22 by a Chinese spy

  • how many did the saudis shoot down in the war?

  • 0...there has never been a f-15 shot down

  • f15 the best fighter ,,, my country have f15

and how i know it`s the best ,,, in gulf war saudi pilot destroyed 2 iraqe MIG at the same time by f15

  • japan should make stealth air fighter by own technology.

I beleave it is not so easy, but possible for japan.

  • amo el F-15

  • This comment was posted by a Chinese guy who have serious mental problem. Please ignor his commnet above.

  • japan air force has start 1947 60 years they need more in case al quaed strike

  • With North Korea as your neighbor you need to have a good air force.

  • with Mobile Suits, japan wouldnt need nukes lol

  • haha yeah! gundam wing :p

  • yes they are pretty sharp. the age of the Mobile Suit is upon us!!!! lol just kidding :)

  • Japan should be nuke-armed!

  • Don't you know that most of the avionic and electronic in F-22 are supply from Japan, like Japanese said why need a big army when you can control the only world supper power.

  • If Japanese pilots are half as good as they were during the early WW2 days before their Governments dumb decisions and defense procurement let them down, i'm scared! They look pretty sharp to me.

  • thank you for preserving the real audio and radio, this is a very good F-15 clip.

  • 45000 ft per minute climb rate omfg yes

  • well the Russians have been experimenting with stealth for a while... they have a stealth fighter already. and also the first stealth fighter was developed and tested in the first world war, although it was not successful. but come on it was a start. i think Germany designed it.

  • Get rid of all North Korean intruders!! Go on, don't be shy, don't be scared!! Just shoot down those North Koreans with their old well used jet fighters!! Oh, get rid of any intruding North Koreans ships too!! Don't be too soft!!

  • The Rafale, the best plane ever made:

    youtube(DOT)com/watch?v=KhjaAMa5_Ak

  • nah more like Su-37 and F-22

  • yeah well thats bullshit... countries should be allowed to have whatever type of military they want. who are we to tell others what to do? thats why terrorist attacks and shit happens. if i was a world leader and u told my country how to live or what type of military to have, it tell u to go fuck urselfs. because it would be MY country if i was leader.

  • Totally agreed. Seriously, we can't stick to those stupid rules forever.

  • are these american made or did america just help them make it? either way what happend to japan not being allowed to have a millitary? do they have an army too? like tanks and such

  • yes they are f-15. Who said anything about Japan not being ALLOWED to have a military. No one can say Japan can't have a military. The us Govt. sells some aircraft to their allies. Although do not believe it comes with certain electronics.

  • yea i saw a video that said so far only israel has been allowed to buy them. i guess that was outdated. and i looked it up, japan isnt allowed to have an offensive military just protective. its was an agreement reached at the end of world war two

  • Japan is the only country licensed by McDonnell Douglass (now Boeing) to produce their own F-15's

  • are the f-15J's milder than the others? less powerful? seems like any video i see of them they are kind of "watered down" a bit. Or is it just because this is a training video?

  • this is the best music that I had listen

  • very nice F-15 in japan..i love any america jetfighters in japan..NO need ussr russia jetfighter in japan..kick ussr russia jetfighter out of japan

  • It's a great video but it's not DACT. DACT is Dissimilar Air Combat Training. If all the engaging units are flying the same aircraft, in this case all F-15s, it can't be DACT. The idea of is for pilots to fly against aircraft with different performance characteristics rather than the regular training syllabus with in-unit assets (i.e., the same aircraft type).

  • I like their paint =)

  • huh! Japan got F-22 too!

  • Not true. F22s went to Japan to "show off". US Gov't has said they will not sell the F22 to other countries, including Japan.

  • I heared same thing as you said. But I guess US will decide to sell F-22 to japan. What if US do not sell? Janan would try to make New stealth Fighter(possible?not possible? I don't Know)

  • No other country has the capability or the knowledge to build stealth aircraft but the United States of America I'm not saying its not possible for Japan to design a stealth aircraft but improbable...Also stealth aircraft are offensive aircraft Japan has been banned from owning stealth aircraft after WWII under the clause that Japan must have a defensive army...certain katanas (gunto type) were also banned.

  • Russia has the Su-47

  • Yeah, and if they can get it started, it makes a good target drone.

  • That's not true. The basis for current stealth technology even on the F22 is a widely known theory about angles and the characteristics of RADAR waves. Japan and the UK are said to have enough technical knowledge to get a project of the ground, the problem as always is Political motivation and MONEY. Hell, even Russia is developing a stealth plane. Will they be better than an F22? most likely not... Will they be stealthy? most likely yes.

  • That's true, there's increasing pressure to Sell F22s to allies because both Japan and the UK have the ability and technology to start up their own 5th gen stealth fighter projects. Right now Japan merely buys US planes to strengthen relations, but their avionics and radar is indigenous.

  • Japan built a derivative of the F-16. It costs more than a brand new F-15 and has less capability. So why would the Japanese waste their time and money making things from scratch when they can just wait until the USA sells them the really good stuff. That way they can avoid patent infringement and get to add their own upgrades later on.

  • it was realy cool how you didn't put music. Hearing the jets them self is the best.
