i got rainbow 6 vegas 1. it is not like this. but when i go to find match and try to join a room. it says joining room and it stays like that for 5 mins. then it says would you like to join a match that has already started? so i click yes and another five mins it says failed to find match. can someone help me out here?
maybe it's hooked up the the router instead of what i do is get a internet chord hooked up to the router and hook the chord threw a box to the other chord that connects to the ps3 it always works snow wind or shine:D
now i know there was a server problem but the speed of your internet really would not help i mean you have a download speed of 10mb per second and an upload speed of 1mb per second that is gonna cause some problems

i have the same problem with my Rainbow 6 Vegas 2, you need to create a match as if you were to host a game, then leave the game and it shows you the list of games. But did u find a different way to do it and how can u play terrorist hunt online.

the media server settings on the ps3 seem to fuck with some routers this is what i did to fix the problem go to network settings on your playstation go all the way down to media server
turn that off resubmit network settings an your problem should be fixed.

from my understanding, Ubisoft has fixed this problem because I can now connect to all games + my friends can FINALLY Join my Games. PS(I have NAT 3, so when Ubi said it was ur NAT Type that messed it up, that was bull)
Well I I just had this problem this morning o nt he game, was very annoying, finally got past it an hour later, oddly despite this i find the game insanely laggy online, I mean some players it's perfect but others you run into it's insane, 1 second delays when firing a gun for co-op story is suicide for the visiting player. lol It's so unfair going in one blind to what the connection conditions are, it says searching for good connections but that feels to be a lie once you enter a bad room. hehe

Your not playing on a server on Xbox Live, it's peer to peer. I have had the same problem, u just have to wait to see what the PING is especialy on a ranked match.

I hope a patch comes. If your really pissed and you paid for the game with a credit card here is a great idea. Call your credit card company and tell them to decline payment to whatever store you bought the game from. The stores don't mind that you got ripped, but if you fuck with their money it will be a different story. Then they will hold ubisoft accountable, and ubisoft will have to account for their mistake.

To all the people blaming Sony for this problem, ya can suck a big fat one. Don't blame Sony for this problem blame UBISOFT for there fucked up servers. I can pop in any other game and not have a problem, but RSV2 users are having more trouble then all online game put together.

Ubisoft are aware of this problems. But they have get there lazy asses and fix it. On there forum they gave told us to change our
PS3 setting,this show they are lazy.

I got this on my 360 and I went on it this morning to find that my rank had dropped all the way to recruit and i had lost all my armour and weapons i could previously use before
i was at master seargeant and got put back all the way to recruit, i have no idea how it happened so now i gotta start all over again >.> also i doubt it can be my xbox as ive checked the hardrive and my save data was there, great game though, but very poor work from ubisoft, at least add in a manual save to make sure!!

its us like that cause they consentrate on the xbox servers more cause they pay they think about ps3's serverslast cause ours is free but theyll get it right COD4 was worse than RSV2 when it came out you couldnt even get online with COD4
RSV was a brill game, with a very good online gameplay, and RSV2 has improved on RSV alot, but the online play sucks. There is clearly a problem at Ubisoft/Playstation end, and I should not have to change my settings because they can not get it right.

hey on xbox live all the servers are red dots, except for like 1 or 2 that are yellow. It's really pissing me off... I fire a shot at the wall to see how laggy it is, and it literally takes a second or longer. cant even play this game online wtf. vegas 1 worked fine.

I'm a 360 user and I haven't had any troubles connecting with hosts or anyone connecting to my host. I agree with Kontonymous, you get what you pay for. PSN free = unmanaged network.

I was able to play over rated COD4 all holiday on my PS3 while live broke down!! i never have any problems playing any PS3 games online at all online UBISOFT games!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!
I see a 360 controller in your vid, so that means you mostlikely have one. If your not out of the warranty period, why not trade your PS3 version of Vegas 2 for the 360 version and play on XBL.
X360 users connect to user host and though we have some minor latency issues connectively isn't a problem. I haven't seen complaints on any forum. Like they say, you get what you pay for and I guess that's what happens when you play on a free unmanaged network.

make sure you do..I've already called them, 3 different depts....Also, I would encourage everyone to send links to this forum to the mags...IGN, etc.....

To all the people blaming Sony for this problem, ya can suck a big fat one. Don't blame Sony for this problem blame UBISOFT for there fucked up servers. I can pop in any other game and not have a problem, but RSV2 users are having more trouble then all online game put together.

Ubisoft are aware of this problems. But they have get there lazy asses and fix it. On there forum they gave told us to change our
PS3 setting,this show they are lazy.
All the gamer out there are just begging to play online, especially me im on spring break and i need something to do other than playing COD4 every single day, im need something to do, so Ubisoft hurry and fix the problems you asswipe:P

I got this on my 360 and I went on it this morning to find that my rank had dropped all the way to recruit and i had lost all my armour and weapons i could previously use before
i was at master seargeant and got put back all the way to recruit, i have no idea how it happened so now i gotta start all over again >.> also i doubt it can be my xbox as ive checked the hardrive and my save data was there, great game though, but very poor work from ubisoft, at least add in a manual save to make sure!!

its us like that cause they consentrate on the xbox servers more cause they pay they think about ps3's serverslast cause ours is free but theyll get it right COD4 was worse than RSV2 when it came out you couldnt even get online with COD4

RSV was a brill game, with a very good online gameplay, and RSV2 has improved on RSV alot, but the online play sucks. There is clearly a problem at Ubisoft/Playstation end, and I should not have to change my settings because they can not get it right.

hey on xbox live all the servers are red dots, except for like 1 or 2 that are yellow. It's really pissing me off... I fire a shot at the wall to see how laggy it is, and it literally takes a second or longer. cant even play this game online wtf. vegas 1 worked fine.

It seems like a common problem I'm experiencing it also along with some of my friends.
This is a pretty poor excuse for a sequel, the graphics are crap.
You would have thought they would have stepped it up a notch with games like call of duty on the market.
IT IS NOT THE PSN, it's the crappy deamonware servers ubi use, there are tons of online games that are working fine ubi has been pumping out crap latley

Hopefully a patch is coming very soon. If not, it really sucks. I Vegas 1, and there was never problems like this. I hope it is a quick fix.

it works sometimes, but any room will eventually kick most if not all the players and after that noone else can join the room.

I'm a 360 user and I haven't had any troubles connecting with hosts or anyone connecting to my host. I agree with Kontonymous, you get what you pay for. PSN free = unmanaged network.

I was able to play over rated COD4 all holiday on my PS3 while live broke down!! i never have any problems playing any PS3 games online at all online UBISOFT games!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!

I see a 360 controller in your vid, so that means you mostlikely have one. If your not out of the warranty period, why not trade your PS3 version of Vegas 2 for the 360 version and play on XBL.

X360 users connect to user host and though we have some minor latency issues connectively isn't a problem. I haven't seen complaints on any forum. Like they say, you get what you pay for and I guess that's what happens when you play on a free unmanaged network.
