  • Wow, I got an ad about ethinic hacking training wtf?

  • @SteamMonkey115 From who?

  • WHATS THE SONGS NAME?

  • Good video and information. Keep up the good work!

  • for me the reason it's sample..He try to make money in every way! :) I have sold on ebay stupid things, but someone has bought me ;)

  • @NikyRipy Yes well for me he is a "thief" that steels parts to sale for a profit and Damages game systems that now will only work for a short time because the bolts he installed in place of the X-clamps will kill the box dead in only a short time.

  • @HGCGamersClub why kill the box in short time? and so finally for you who is the best thing to do for repair an xbox?? buy a new console? XD

  • @NikyRipy You can watch my video showing why bolts are bad and my video telling you about reflows

As for the repairs use someone that knows what they are doing. IE: no bolts, heat guns or towel tricks, and has the right equipment or you are wasting your money and would be better off buying a new Xbox.

  • It is believable that the guy has that machine. I'm not saying I know for sure he does, but it is believable. Maybe he owns a game store, or a repair shop and is also fixing stuff for people on eBay as well.I've seen a $8000 machine that fixes the systems, hell I've even seen a $30,000 machine that's fully automated and so easy to use, a monkey could start up his own system repair business with that.

  • @MrMario2011 And yet he is still putting bolts in the box and calming the X-clamps was the end all flaw with the Xbox and then posts them for sale to the rill repair men how know they are not the problem I do believe I seen that water mark on a picture somewhere ells on someone else’s website so I do not believe it is his machine even if he dues own one?

  • Classic! He takes off the "faulty" X-clamps then re-sells them. All those clamps are is a piece of metal that creates tension to hold the heatsinks in place... anyone who calls them faulty is a moron. Replacing them with over-torqued bolts is only going to bow/crack your motherboard and dislodge the connections in the BGA under the CPU/GPU.

  • @ryancav You are exactly right 98% of the time it will pull the contact off the board and permanently kill the Xbox

  • @HGCGamersClub Now what I was thinking.. replacing the x-clamps with bolts and nylon washers CAN work, as long as you do not over torque them enough to damage the ball grid array or warp the motherboard. Most videos on youtube tell you tighten the hell out of them! you only need enough torque to hold the heatsink in place against the processor die.

  • @ryancav All you will succeed in doing is warping the chips from the heat of the chips, using bolts will over time loosen the contact between the chip and heat sink in only a few weeks if you are lucky a few months this will force you to tighten them agene and agene. Each time until you pop a solder contact and kill the motherboard or the chip becomes warped and makes hot spots or permanent over heating

  • @ryancav Then there is your other problem! If you Do get the heat sink on flat enough and tight enough for the Xbox to actually last 6 months or more because you did used a BGA Welder to corrected the solders crystallization, the next time dust builds up in the Xbox and produces enough heat to cause the motherboard to flex because it is no longer attached to the case it will snap solder contacts in other locations and produce a 100% Non Repairable Red Light.

  • @HGCGamersClub Ahhh, I see now... the X-Clamps actually make contact with the case and further conduct heat/cool the heatsink down.

  • @ryancav Yes and it is not just the X-clamps but also the legs of the heat sinks that are locked down to the case directly with the T8’s

  • what would you recommend to fix rrod. I bought an x-clamp screw set with nylons and put arctic silver 5 and it seems to have been going strong...its been 9+ months

  • @ian559fresno If you got 9+ months you are extremely lucky! All my repair videos for pro level will be released only to donators of the HGC and only after the Mega giveaway all videos will be free and will be training videos so all how have access to them will be able to actually start there own repair service and make as much as $5,000 per month depending on skill level and advertising.

  • You're really smart and know what you're doing. At first I was hesitant to trust your skills but when I questioned you (in a manner that would make most repairmen irritable) I can now safely say that you are knowledgeable. I tested to see how much patience you have and its by far the best I've seen. Keep up the good work.
