The aid from the US probably exceeds 5 billion a year. Only 3 billion of that is from official US foreign aid. Furthermore, US companies have consistently showed favor to the Israelis and have been persuaded to do business in Israel. The US govt also encourages that US companies do business with them.

The reason why companies do business with Israel is not becuase their Jew's or Israel, it's because they do good work! If Egypt had results like that, countries would do business with them. are you kidding? that money is a high interest loan that israel must pay back with interest. most of that money MUST be invested back into american companies (part of the agreement). in fact, many israelis who care about the israeli economy dont want that loan because we feel it is bad for israels economy. israel has rejected the loan offer for the past several years. israel had that loan of 3billion whilst america takes out 19billion every year. face facts

I have nothing against Israel and wish them the best of luck but their wealth has been tied to the u.s. inextricably via wall street and u.s. government support for decades. On wall street you can make leveraged bets with fiat money and do very well until the system crashes - ask Iceland.

If you were to seal off borders of all countries how would they fare? To me this touting is a load of crap as it is all about money betting on money with special favors tossed in.
