I live in USA. But love the Greece and the Australia and new Zealand anthem I very much love god defend new Zealand when people sing in mori
@slcldsprovo There are over 300 indigenous languages over here in Australia. Unlike NZ which has only the one Maori language. I would love to be able to slap an aboriginal verse onto the anthem and say that the Aboriginal's are acknowledged appropriately. However. that is simply not the case with Australia.
My understanding listening to it, it is a different language.
I actually came across that video before this one.
The Yugambeh Language is one language spoken by the aboriginal people in S.E. Queensland near Tamborine Mountain. Elders are preserving the language and creating a museum to record & celebrate their culture (see yugambeh(DOT)com). Elders arranged for a translation of the National Anthem. Tyrone Drahm and Alec Warne, students at the Brisbane Aboriginal Centre for Performing Arts, sang it at Dreamworld, launching their RAP - Reconciliation Action Plan. We reported the launch.
can u write the lyrics down for me please

I don't mean to be rude, just curious, but why did you pick this dialect? Is it the most popular one or something?
