I just don't see what was the point of such an..."artwork", if we may call it so...The Beatles, smiling, with these white butchers' smocks; and with these baby dolls dismembered and these pieces of meat...It's just so GROSS ! Some of the meat pieces even look like some human body parts, from afar; like the piece on Paul and Ringo Starr's knees; looking like an human arm...Isn't it...?? I agree that the cover known as "butchers cover" is DAMN INSANE ! Why have they used such a cover...?? It's the first time I see it, and I didn't know there was such disturbing stuff already in the 1960s, which I thought was a "correct" decade...Yeah,cause I really think that's the word : that album cover is really DISTURBING, especially for the 1960s...It's like the idea of that cover came from the mind of a madman;really ! I don't dislike the Beatles's song, but here, they are disappointing !

The Brazilian Beatles Forever LP was issued in other countries as Por Siempre Beatles, which means the same thing. The Brazilian LP has an unusual song edit: the words "in Summer" are missing from the middle of "Penny Lane." Sure wish I could find this version.
