The TV show "Fact or Faked" on Sci-Fi channel passed at the chance to investigate this exact footage. Although they did not show the later footage of "Joe" in front of the door when the apparition appeared. The first thing they said was that they saw an editing error in the vid. Still no documentary to speak of is available....so I think its been de-bunked enough. time to move on.

If I were the one behind this hoax, I think I'd have opted for a less dramatic route. Notice that those horror movies that often get the best ratings are those that scare indirectly, and without necessarily showing "the monster" - that's why Paranormal Activity was so successful. Unexpected scares, and no stupidity until the very ending.

Putting your daughter into a video is a surefire way to get debunked, as is leaving her head in one of the clips.
