Sometimes it feels like the weight of the world is on my shoulder... (Crying now.. but this song is really helping me along..) Really going thru it in this world right now but Im finding a peaceful spirit in Sam's voice.. The tears are falling but my spirit is being picked up..sometimes I believe only he knows how i really feel at times.. its painful at times in this world But I get thru it with prayer, good friends, family and at times.. GOSH...I just came across this song. This HAS to be my most favorite Sam with Soul Stirrers song ever...so powerful...did Sam write this? He's sure singing it like he did...The more I listen to Sam's entire catalogue, the more it rings true - what some critique said ages ago: if you haven't heard Sam sing gospel, then you haven't really heard Sam sing a song. I love all of his stuff, in all musical genres, but Sam came back to gospel with the song most know him for, 'Change Is Gonna Come'...

I can't believe the melodic sounds that came out of the mouth of Sam Cooke could come out of any human bein. Sam Cooke's voice is the closest thing we can get to heaven in the physical form. RIP Sam Cooke.
