Thanks for the video, sums up what I loved about such a great player and person. That West Ham goal is the first real memory of a sensational goal at the Reebok I have and I always adored Speed for it. He'll be sadly missed.
if gary was very depressed and took his life bcus of that he did a very good job in hiding his depression from people. I mean this dosn't make sense at all to me one minute hes happy as larry a day b4 on the tele the next hes dead. Was he on drugs? which lead him to hang himself? was he murdered by someone else? Im not usually a nosey person but this man is a legend and I grew up watchin him on the tele. I'm just in shock right now
Such a loss and a great man. I never witnessed him have a bad game in a Wanderers shirt and he was always consistent. A true Wanderers great and model professional. RIP.

Only yesterday I was considering him as my successor to Coyle. Absolutely devastated by this, a real honour to watch him in a wanderers shirt. RIP

Top player and a top man. Wanted him back at BWFC

Speedo, in midfield, off the ball could use his footballing
intelligence to close down space to make bwfc hard to break down.Noone
since has done it as well.
