I would respect this trailer more if the video title and description weren't completely misleading. Dude, your editing is decently admirable so why lie and discredit yourself? Just saying.
You are totally right, taking a movie already made and making a boring trailer from it that doesnt work is exactly the same as me making a film school project that I didnt edit...nice. Instead of jumping into the defensive maybe you should really look at your "work" and A. re edit, B. make your own original work and then edit that, or C. do what you are doing and just whine for the sake of it...if you are confused the true answer is B.
Not my favrit, but in the top ten.. When my stupid ass friends can't frikken understand
what I'm about, I force them to watch this movie.. after all my name is Mitch, as well..
Best quote; "Some advice, always... uh, never forget to check your references!" They could've used a bit less make-up. Most people can't understand "genius".
I think this is great! And agree with @jeniusvi, best move ever!
Glad you posted this. The DVD had no extras at all, and if ever there was a movie I wanted to know more about, it's this one. Only depiction of smart people I've seen that resembles the smart people I know.
I wonder if this is truly an unrealeased ORIGINAL trailer for this movie. At 00:40, the music is Steve Reich's "Sextet- 3rd Movement" which was composed in October 1985, and not recorded until 1986, to say nothing of what date a recording of this piece was publically available- all of which come AFTER the release date of this movie, August 1985.
I think this is cool

The voiceover sounds a little too much like an impression of Keanu Reeves.

Why does that one guy look like Sarah Jessica Parker with a short haircut?

Great job! This is pretty close to the overly dramatic style trailers of the late 70's and very early 80's. Really well cut.

One of the best movies from the 80s. I think Val is trying to make a sequel as we speak.

Great movie... But who ever they hired to do the voiceover for the trailer sounds gay.

(assumes pseudo-badass voice) The same guy they never said would make a living with just his voice, no matter how much he talks to himself.
