Right now, the only way to earn yourself a Perfect Bonus in Sonic 3 & Knuckles is to always collect all the rings in every 3D Special Stage. This not only includes free-floating rings in the 3D Special Stage, but also rings that are generated once a rectangular perimeter of blue spheres is cleared. You're awarded 50,000 points at the end of the 3D Special Stage for collecting all the rings, regardless of if you've earned the Chaos Emerald at the end of the 3D Special Stage.

On Sonic 1,2, and 3 I was the master of the special stage. I got every single emerald. But on Sonic & Knuckles you have to collect 7 Super Emeralds and that S**t is HARD. I've never beaten it.

well considering there is only 7 chaos emeralds and theres ALOT more than 7 rings and I odnt know where they all are theres that much it wouldnt really help that much, there is videos that show you where they are so you can sue them =)

you can get al 7 chaos emeralds when u get to hydropolis orsomething(2nd zone) act 2

and then at mushroom hill zone you get to do the super and that can be done before leaving for flying battery

ugh, is there a way to redo the stage when you mess up? Because i've gone through like 50 games trying to get the first one, i got it, then failed the 2nd emerald, and know im gonna need to delete the game and start over right?!

no once you beat the story you can replay it every time you go into a level again
