The "vision" was Elvis singing 26 Christmas carols and saying "Thank you and Merry Christmas! And a Happy New Year, too." With the sign behind blinking "Happy Holidays From Elvis and The Colonel."

The truth be known, the Col. wanted Elvis to do a Christmas show and sing Christmas songs.  Bones Howe the producer of the special went to Elvis and said if you do this you will end your career. Elvis said, don't worry Bones, we aren't doing a Christmas show.... Read the Book "Elvis - By Jerry Hopkins... the very first Elvis Biography. 1970.

@ JJ1985Jon, The show has been produced by people from the province of Quebec for almost 15 years now. There's been different stars playing Elvis's role but Martin Fontaine remains the one and only King for the gig. It will be presented in the Montreal area in summer 09 but unfortunately Martin does not participate in this edition...Please Martin, feel free to give it a try again whenever you want !!! :p

Where is this show playing? I've never heard of it, looks a quality production, but the Elvis guy (who is he?) looks the part but the voice is weak.
