Danzig made the better music, but Jerry is doing just fine. I talked to him after a show and he's a very nice guy. I've never met Danzig but I hear he's an asshole. Jerry wants to continue the band and make music. Danzig didn't, he just wanted the royalties (he overdubbed on Legacy of Brutality and Collection I so he can collect 100% of the royalties). As far as his voice goes, have you ever heard someone 51 years old who had a voice like that? He fits the sound perfectly.

@undrclasshro actually Danzig and Doyle wanted to do a reunion show, tour and album and Only and his manager didn't want to do it. They even had a Danzig show, with Gorgeous Frankenstein opening featuring Michael Graves, and they played some 90's era Misfits tracks... That's probably the closest full reunion (of key band members) anyone will ever see. Everyone was involved except Only and his BlackFlag/Misfits cover band.

Jerry's voice sounds exactly like it is on the album, amazing. Just proves that he doesn't fuck with everything in the studio to make it better. Mainly because it can't get any better 'cause it's already fuckin' awesome. I don't even know why so many people give him shit and say he sucks. Dez and Robo are sounding kickass too.
I'll admit these are two good songs. Jerry can write some catchy songs. But god this line-up is horrible. I saw this line-up during the Fiend Fest Tour (substitute Robo out with Marky) and walked out half way through the set. Jerry cannot carry the stage show by himself. You need Doyle and a fun lead singer. Im a fiend for life but man Im not a Dez fan. Looks like an Ozzy Osborne stunt double up there.

These guys are pretty much more Black Flag than Misfits. At least Dez was the singer in BF most of the time he was in it, before moving over to second guitar. Robo has more BF history than Misfits history. Weird band. I go to see them, my only complaint is that they call themselves the Misfits. They should have some different name.

I must say though that I've been a fan of misfits before the american psycho album was out as well as danzig solo stuff, *coughs samhain* so I'm not cashing in on a trend, I didn't know there was this crazy wild trend you speak of, I have been blessed.

Danzig made the better music, but Jerry is doing just fine. I talked to him after a show and he's a very nice guy. I've never met Danzig but I hear he's an asshole. Jerry wants to continue the band and make music. Danzig didn't, he just wanted the royalties (he overdubbed on Legacy of Brutality and Collection I so he can collect 100% of the royalties). As far as his voice goes, have you ever heard someone 51 years old who had a voice like that? He fits the sound perfectly.

@murcielago06gt They used glenn's versions for the box set because it sounded better. Jerry is the one who just wants royalties, obviously, look at all the merch, jerry is making misfits a joke. Glenn should have all royalties since he was the only one doing everything.

Danzig was the dick. Only's one of the nicest entertainers I've met. He stayed after the show signing stuff for everyone and shoo my hand. He's been in the band from the getgo and deserves to be able to continue palying the Misfits tunes.

@undrclasshro actually Danzig and Doyle wanted to do a reunion show, tour and album and Only and his manager didn't want to do it. They even had a Danzig show, with Gorgeous Frankenstein opening featuring Michael Graves, and they played some 90's era Misfits tracks... That's probably the closest full reunion (of key band members) anyone will ever see. Everyone was involved except Only and his BlackFlag/Misfits cover band.

Does anybody else think it's completely pathetic to continue a band that you at best had minimal creative input in? Jerry has NO pride. He needs to thank Glenn every single day for his "career ". No. When a band takes ten years to release a new song, it should be something that at least sounds halfway decent. This is complete crap. Trite bullshit made just so they can make a little money and please "fans" that will eat this garbage up no matter how bad it sounds.
And really, does the current generation want this crap? They want some new, good, Misfits tunes.
As for the music on my channel, most of it was written in less than fifteen minutes, buts it's not making tons of money either.

The funny part is that Danzig sounds like hes like 33 in his albums but in concert he sounds like 21 and Michale Graves sounded like his age in the studio and in live he sounded like he was 38? he was like in his 20s and Jerry only in studio sounds like Jerry here!.. Does that tell you something?

Jerry's voice sounds exactly like it is on the album, amazing. Just proves that he doesn't fuck with everything in the studio to make it better. Mainly because it can't get any better 'cause it's already fuckin' awesome. I don't even know why so many people give him shit and say he sucks. Dez and Robo are sounding kickass too.

I'll admit these are two good songs. Jerry can write some catchy songs. But god this line-up is horrible. I saw this line-up during the Fiend Fest Tour (substitute Robo out with Marky) and walked out half way through the set. Jerry cannot carry the stage show by himself. You need Doyle and a fun lead singer. Im a fiend for life but man Im not a Dez fan. Looks like an Ozzy Osborne stunt double up there.

These guys are pretty much more Black Flag than Misfits. At least Dez was the singer in BF most of the time he was in it, before moving over to second guitar. Robo has more BF history than Misfits history. Weird band. I go to see them, my only complaint is that they call themselves the Misfits. They should have some different name.
