these guys are rip off. i sent my drives in for a recovery. i was told 4-6 hours for quote, never got it. called in next day and was told they don't have a quote. i got an email the next day saying it's $4500 for recovery. i needed the data and gave the go ahead. 1 week past and i heard nothing. called in and left messages but never got any call back. 2 week, called, left messages and still no call back. finally, talk to a manger and was told it's non-recoverable. unprofessional!
It's super paying ;) It's mission critical yes, but you still get paid even if you can't recover the data.
You may run into a situation where as the data "is" recoverable, but if you yourself can't figure it out you can always blame it on "It's too corrupted, damaged, etc..."
she makes me laugh ''data damaged in world trade center, thats where data recovery companies come in!!'' then 5 minutes later ''but actually they cant help the world trade center info!!''
What would happen if your hard drive was damaged from a power surge. What are the chances of being able to retrieve the data from it? One of my hard drives has recently suffered that fate. From the sound that the HD makes, the motor still works fine, however the BIOS sometimes doesn't recognise the drive, while other times it does recognise it however when it goes to load up Windows, the Scandisk utility appears but then the PC restarts immediately after.
Can you save data on a laser microprocessor data is saved as a light cell that is magnetized with a photon nano laser.Nano solar cells energized with a nano laser, from a distance of a meter, and even under water/ used in energize a Atomic submarine core to charge devices like the core clock and temputure from a distance of three meters from the atomic core devices, safer no wires needed just a nano laser charging nano solar cells just laser ray instead of the sun light.
The cost of data recovery varies depending on difficulty and problems associated with your drive. It can be as low as $500 or as high as $3000 in extreme cases. Bring your drive into one our CBL labs for a no obligation, free quote.
CBL saved us, literally saved the company. They did it quickly, and they did it for tens of thousands less than anyone else. They are amazing, well worth the price.
it takes a long time to recover data and often a lot of work so i think they earn their money. some things are irriplacable such as family albums or other such info. these people who recover data are a godsend to many

i got confused... they are talking about optical drives, not hard drives... but then the guy says something about a read/write head..

I think you need to find information on the drive back in 2001 some old technology

How much would cost a data recovery?!
One of the chips in my hard drive burned.
Thanks.

What are those discs? Those aren't CDs in cartridges, right?

those are magneto-optical discs. CDs are optical-optical.

Most recoveries are completed within 5 business days. Servers can take a bit longer depending on how many drives there are.

Stock backup data with original data. LOL

I worked with them before when my server drive kicked the bucket.
The one drawback is that recovery like this is REALLY expensive.
