@nicolevins It is obvious that thoose creatures arent pets. You only make them suffer. There are many accidents and death cases right ? You must be careful with them what kind of pets they are ? Anyway i may keep you as a pet. humans can be treated as pets too. I cant fight for such foolish things because there are many peoples who collect thoose creatures. Think whatever you want.

Years ago, tarantulas were domesticated. They probably wouldn't adapt to the wild (CB t's). Like many other so called "pets" are.

Many tarantula owners (including myself) would prefer to give the tarantula a large tank. Truth is, they get stressed because of the open space - at least that's what I've been told.

A good T owner will look at how a certain species lives in the wild. The owner will do his/her best to make it look like it's natural habitat.

they are pets. in their eclosure, they got no enemys, they got what to eat und water.

in natur they get parasites, and sometime nothing to eat for month.

@thenebelwerk Sorry but when you remove them from their habitat you are their greatest enemy. I am strongly against having these creatures as pets. Do whatever you want but please stop giving me your opinions about these creatures because i don't care about your feelings. Regards!

Já bych tohle chovat nemohl,jednou jsem spal u kámoše co jich má hodně a bál jsem se že mu utečou,pač když jsme byli venku tak mu volal táta a povídal: Pavle pojd domu chytit pavouka,on zas utekl,našel ho pak třeba v botníku,nebo ve skříni mezi věcma

Mám Brachypelmu smithi v11. svleku.Moje brachypelma je klidná a ani nevypouští žahavé chloupky.Jen se chcu zeptat,jestli někdo nevíte,zda jí můžu dat do terárka i mech,jestli v něm nemohou v být náké bakterie, nebo jestli není náchylný na plísně?dík

Čus, já mám Albopilosu, je to 23 letý kousek a já se o ni starám zhruba třináct let.Podle toho co jsem se dozvěděl z chovatelství, mají Brachypelmy rádi vlhko, a já jí po celou dobu maximálně naplním kalíšek vodou.S tím mechem si myslím, že to není dobrej nápad, já bych to u svýho pavouka neriskoval, nedovolím si mu dát ani hmyz z venku.Přesně tak, jak píšeš bakterie, plísně aj..

aha,tak díky za info...já to právě viděl u jednoho týpka,co tam měl normálně mech z lesa,ale měl sem strach,že to tam zanese ty bakterie,roztoče,plísen,atd...­ale máš pravdu,radši to tam dávat nebudu..mám tam normálně lignocel a takový doměčky..ale s tím hmyzem z venku to taky neriskuju.

mněla sem dva potkany ... a skoro kazdej kdo prisel a viděl je,začal řikat jak sou hnusný,ten jejich ocas,a že tu chovam zvirata co žijou v kanálech a tak no :( ae ja je mam stejne rada ;)

I used to have one of those. In wire cage. Then one I woke up and tarantula was gone. We lived in the same house for another year or so - but we've never found her afterward.

Janec, jses stejne magor. Ja bych se ji ani nedotkl. Je to sice postarsi dama, ale je rychla jako sracka. Ja se tehdy nechtel dotknout ani te svlecene kuze. Ale je nadherna, to se musi nechat. A baracek z lega ma strasne rada, jestli si to dobre pamatuju. Tak jo, odpoledne ti cincnu a zajdeme na par kousku. See ya bro.
