I bet if this happened and the Med ocean was destroyed horrible sand storms like never before would hit Europe, I was watching a documentary about this but it is only on German

@michal1337 Part of project was two big lakes on Sahara, I think evaporation will be same. Temperature of new sea will be higher than now, so i think evaporation will be same. Two new big lakes will change, i think, level of rain falls, will be higher, i think.

How tragic that this didn't come into place before the outbreak of the Second World War. This could have saved many millions of lives in the decade of the 1930's and 1940's, and potentially many billions in the centuries to come.

Indeed. Sörgel didn't calculate with the opposing ideologies in Europe. And what would happen if this new union had to face it's first serious problems?

I toyed with the idea to call the dictators "false prophets" but that seemed a bit too awkward to me. Everyone with a little general knowledge knows what butchers they were. Furthermore I tried to show the zeitgeist, in which Sörgel developed his plan. So those saviors, as you recognized it, presented themselves as saviours of their time.

Hmm. Interesting as always, in my humble opinion, a utopian society would barely be possible. I also find interesting how you call the old dictators as "saviors" because that´s how they sold to the people. Here in Mexico, we were about to fall for one of these pseudo-messiahs.
