This is great, Tim. I would add and what I explain to students is that the drop box should only be used as instructed by the Professor. The student must ask or email prior to doing so since all assignments must be handed in in class. It should only be used in extenuating circumstances. I don't think the Admin office wants to be inundated. This forces students to explain why it's late and then the Professor can monitor who and how often this occurs and encourages students to come to class.
