I give both cars my full respect. they both have top notch engines with amazing response and sound and they perform amazing. Not to mention the altima is pullin 4 doors.
I would love some headers, but i love the tone of the exhaust better. If i get headers then it will be alot louder. Plus i dont want a CEL. Im still considering it though.
u need headers or something. its taking your motor to long to get to 6500+ where a vq should stay for racing. you also fell off top of 4th car just wasnt pulling.
@mlpdade Only bolt-on needed with a VQ is the downpipe. Adds nearly 30hp instantly. That gives any 3.5 swapped 4th gen about 270whp weighing in at only about 3100lb (engine included)
@arcenal352 I heard some VQ35 Swap 4th gens need to be tuned in order to run more efficient, is this true? If so, how do you tune it and where do you go to get it properly tuned?
@mlpdade Yes, definitely. Not sure about where you are, but down here there's a place called Dyno-Tune where they put the car on a dyno and tune it for optimum hp. Costs a few hundred dollars.

For the horsepower difference the Genesis is pretty slow even with both being modded.
