  • R.I.P joe, you have inspired me to be a better drummer.

  • 15:14

  • Rudiments and fluency...

  • Ik bemmin deze kerel!

  • @masterbeat04 buddy rich is undoubtedly one of my favourite drummers ever. The stuff with Flip Phillips. Wow.

  • BWAAAH!!!! I feel happy to know I just bought the same hi hat cymbals he has :)

  • Absolutely brilliant. I'm a Morello fan after all these videos.

  • RIP Joe. Forever swinging in another world.

  • Still fascinating to watch this guy drumming. *_*

  • damn he can really move around a set.

  • @drmcbeats fucking right he can, he's joe morello ;)

  • One of the Greatest Drummers and one heck of a Nice Man. He ALWAYS made time to engage others interested in the ART of DRUMMING . His TASTE on the set was truly a musical approach. The man had ears that would LISTEN .and contribute to the piece being played. Not just a " Timer Keeper " A musicians musician....... We will meet again .....................

  • R.I.P Joe Morello. Thanks for the great music.

  • R.I.P. Joe, Thank You for giving us ur teachings....See Tony Royster Jr, Steve Smith, Steve Gadd, Dave Weckle and many many many more mention your name when playing, u influenced so many....I hope u and Buddy, Gene, Max are shedding somewhere..

  • Why steal from the people who made this?

    It is their INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY!

  • @boyritmo1 intellectual property doesn't really exist from a legal standpoint. So if you have something to say, say it instead of trying to play lawyer ball cause I shot down a mother f****er just like you this year for trying to claim a song was his.

  • thank you sooo much for uploading the whole thing

  • I'm a Travis Barker fan, He's a good drummer. But he DOES NOT compare to old boys. Gadd, Morello, Blakey.

  • @PUNK8534 rich? XD

  • @PUNK8534 he's not a good drummer, anyone can play double bass and gravity blasts over and over

  • @jinzodude Double bass can be simple or difficult depends on the genre and the drummer. Every kind of music has its own technique. And Barker doesn't use double bass and blast beat.

  • @PUNK8534 let's not forget rich ;)

  • @PUNK8534 Well, at least you know your history... good for you.

  • @PUNK8534 you forget Rich mate

  • we miss you, Joe.

PS - who's the lone dipshit who DISliked this? let me guess... a Travis Barker fan perhaps?...

  • @jofujenkins How ignorant of you. Try someone who just didn't like the video you dipshit.

  • @jofujenkins No doubt, huh -friggin' idiot...

  • I'm proud to say that we share the same hometown!!! Pure genius!!!

  • Amazing, but did anyone else notice he's not sitting on a drum throne but instead what look like tom drums?

  • @brittisnow That's actually a case for hardware, sticks, etc. Back in the day almost all drummers used cases that doubled as thrones. The case would actually match the drumset too so it looked like part of the kit.

  • Good Lord, and some bands these day's say they can't play the stuff they used to because they are getting older. Joe is what in his 70's here!? legend! RIP

  • Cmon Marvin! Get on the ball.

  • Thanks so much for puttin this up man!! Joe and all the jazz greats like him are the only path to building and keeping the most rock hard, solid, foundation for a lifetime!!!!

  • excellent. young drummers start with snare technique. tried of double bass this, double bass that.

  • Thank's groovestix!

  • didnt know this Morello is so funny. :) R.I.P

  • Reminds me of all my lessons with him. RIP Joe.

  • He is so cool to watch. Aside from being amazing as a drummer, and an accessible teacher, he's so funny!

  • Thanks for uploading this. Joe Morello is the man, rest his soul.
