@CaroAOkay i saw her live at glustonbury in 2010, and anyone who knows anything about music will tell you she goes of key quite a bit. Her voice is quite strained, and you hear this more so when she performs live. well, i suppose the sound of a cat gasping for air during its last moments of life may sound like music to someone else, but subjective or not she's just plain shit.

Ohh! BBC sound of music is trying to stir something up.I knew they were, I'll bite. I've been hearing Ellie's name for a while now but it's the 1st t time I've heard her sing.I've heard people say she sucks, some say she's great(mostly the critics at this point).But I understand why BBC picked her her voice is raw & unique, although at some points it tends to be annoying, when she hits some notes.Maybe I'll listen to few of her albums tracks, not promising to like it though.
