Midna's language is a Japanese voice actor speaking English that is scrambled and chopped up. I don't know if it's backwards, but if it is it is also scrambled. She doesn't say the same thing every time because it's random. For example it will use the scrambled "So you aren't stupid" and use it in saying something unrelated, like warping.

@rikukaoin Link is left handed whereas most people are born right handed; therefore they will be swinging "links sword" aka the wii remote with their right hand. Link would be responding by swinging with his left hand. The Programers probably found it destracting to players, as well as the fact that it mixed up the game for those who had already completed it. (All the people who played gamecube and then wii were prob so lost on the water temple =D)
