when i record with amcap, it takes alot of space, i recorded a short video, it took me 1 GB, another video is 11.56 GB, i cannot upload it to youtube like that!!!

Have you changed the compression settings as instructed in this video? It sounds like you left it on none or possible AVI, most editing programs would also resize that video if needed.

@GuyBlue78 convert them with real player converter... the file will be less than 200 mb.. the 1 gig will be 10 mb.... but the 11gb will be 100mb or more

@GuyBlue78 : That is normal. I make 3 minute videos and it is 1gb in filesize. I edit using Camtasia and render that file. It changes from 1gb to 15mb. After I upload, i delete.

Please view the video linked in the bottom right hand corner via annotations. You do not need a S-video connection to complete this set-up, a laptop is simple a portable computer and there is no difference, and will work just fine.

People who aren't seeing PAL_60 or NSTC_433: You have the DC60, you need the DC60+ to be able the use these options.

The capture settings within easycap need to be set on to the correct 60z, if you don't have this setting as shown in the video I cant help you at this point of time as I have not figured out why people have these settings absent.

Im not actually sure why people cannot see the settings, this could be down to region and the signal you can receive, the type of easycap, not the correct drivers etc

This can be an issue with the EasyCap model, I have been told that in order to get these options you will need the EasyCap DC60+ model.

Thanks for uploading this video, it helped me alot with many problems

I was experiencing, now i got everything working very good using these settings

But i am experiencing some very bad Lag and choppiness with the Audio,

the audio sounds good, but every half a second or so, it gets choppy and back to normal :S

Does anyone experience this and/or knows how to solve it?

Any input will be very appreciated :)

Using lower compression formats or not at all should improve the audio being choppy, but of course will increase the size of the video significantly.

What i've actually done is i've searched around abit and i found out that

the best thing to do in my case, With me having Windows 7 64bit, is to just plug the

Audio jacks with a splitter into the Microphone jack in the PC which is also a Line-In

I found the quality being very good for me :D

@MollehTheCat buy a audio spliter that plugs into your microphone jack,the audio driver doesn't work so well w/ xbox's so some work some dont.The Audio spliter will have white and red RCA female connectors and a male microphone jack.Plug that into the audio from your console,leave easy cap audio jacks unplugged.when you go to your audio settings select to record from microphone which is now connected to you console's audio and bam.

They all come with fake Cds and no boxes so you can't install ulead and the 2nd easycap i got the CD gave my computer a virus and it will neaver work agian tryed many ways to try fix that. easycaps are f-ing stupid

Try "Sepcam B" for PAL 60, that works for me when I use my dazzle

@sansoozi You have an EasyCap DC60. Only EasyCap DC60+ can record PAL60 and NTSC433 in colour. Hope that helped.
