wing chun :} my dad can do chain punches just as fast... maybe faster. so while him and i are doing chi sao (sticky hands)(which is what you saw at the beggining after every attack) brings a bridge to me and my opponent so that i can tell faster and feel faster when hes about to strike. wing chun, wing tsun means beautiful springtime in chinese.

@choudjist basicly it does. Bullet is a little metal thingy. But it goes so fast that it can make huge damage. Now think about something like a bullet. How little it is. Normal hand guns bullet goes about 450/ms. Bruce Lee for one punched over 500/ms. Now that is faster than a handguns bullet. And think about some like bruces hand. its alot bigger than a bullet. Now u tell me speed doesnt give u power ? Then when u add to that speed good timing and forward body motion u get TRUE POWER. Peace.

@choudjist Actually it does. When people say power they actually mean momentum. Newtons second law: F=ma. A moving objects momentum is it's mass times it's velocity. Hence why a speeding bullet which has small mass still has a large momentum.

there IS a way to counter it, with a VERY strong "slow punch" by using it when you are about to receive those fast punches, but it's really hard to do because of the shock caused by the speed.
