Drawing stuff works better then crayon physics, it isn't just a circle or a square or something, you can make any shape. Crayon physics deluxe looks a lot better though.

About the ball moving on its own, i think they decided to remove the anoying "drop a brick on top of the ball to move it" deal and instead have it so you just move it but you gotta fill in spaces and set paths still anyways.

His clipping and collision detection seem better, but CPD has better gameplay- you can't just roll a ball up a hill, you've got to solve even that puzzle with physics.

Marker World could do well to distance itself further from CPD by implementing elements from the early Sonic games.

CPD is a more of a contemplative Puzzle game, while MW would work as an action platformer.
