Howard Stern rocked when it was him, Robin, Jackie, Fred. And they had the great guest, Gilbert and Billy.
Artie was alright. They kept Gilbert around because he was the only thing that brought in ratings. Now Gilbert AND Artie are gone. Howard had his time. He truly was the king of media in the 90's. Now it's done. I'm not hating on him or his show. Just saying time marches on....

@nogoodbastid the "gag order" that pests still bring up. they deliberately sabotaged his show by announcing some stp show he was supposed to announce. this was after they attacked him on their show for a while and he ignored them, but when they went out of their way to sabotage something the company had planned for him he took them out. they weren't allowed to do that shit anymore. this was in 2000. they were fired within 2 years and their fans still constantly bring it up 10 years later

I would hardly classify as a fan, and the only reason I looked at this was because Artie was involved. I'm not knocking you for liking them, but I personally am not that entertained by them. It's like a really flat Stern show. And they talk about him an awful lot. They're not that great at lampooning him, they should pull it back a bit.

it's because the stern show is programmed for content, not hour long plugs for completely separate events you have to pay for...you can tell how sheepish artie is when he interrupts howard at the end of the show for a one line plug of his next show. meanwhile in this 10 min clip absolutely nothing happened. they just kept repeating "fake hellos" and "we did right by artie" the entire time...

I like both shows but I will say that opie and anthony let the guests on their shows have more of a say on shit. Howard always has to be the top dog on his show and he's obviously an egomaniac.
And the regulars on o&a are funnier.. patrice oneal and jim norton alone are good enough examples of this.
