  • i just finished watching the film... i love classical fims, poetry but, in my opinion, this is just boring. I fell asleep in the middle of the story. the pace is so slow and there is no character development described within that, supposedly, 3 year story of john keats.and the other characters.... well, i think 3 years story is not enough... agin this is just my opinion :l

  • Oh. my. God. It's perfect.

  • I don't know how this could happen. I totally admire Jane Campion, I love Ben Whishaw, truly love both of them. English poetry is a passion of mine, the cinematography was very good. Some scenes were good. But in general it was about a barking lunatic girl with an atrocious taste for clothes who, god knows why, suddenly becomes Keats' love interest. the movie seemed sketchy, incomplete and there were some gross mistakes that an expert like Campion should not have done

    Fine video though

  • @bluelightdawn What mistakes? I saw no mistakes in that film. What are you referring to? The film was beautiful and was a visual poem. That is why it seemed somewhat sketchy to you I suppose but the film I felt was wonderfully understated and that's how Campion intended for it to be.

  • This film was one of the worst disappointments related to my (quite wide) movie-experience. I was so excited that it was coming out I hurried to the cinema. I came out of it incapable of describing why that movie had been such a fiasco. I laughed, shocked, at its ridiculousness all the time. I couldn't believe how it was being ruined under my eyes, scene by scene.

  • Everything Jane Campion touches is a thread of inspiration and beauty.

She is a visual artist.....beyond words.

  • Bright Star

  • What is this? It goes by so fast and is in such a difficult font, I can't read it.

  • Crazy stuff - have'ta pause every 5 seconds? & typos all over too.

  • Saw the movie yesterday...beautiful as expected...but then I would expect nothing less from the extremely talented Jane Campion...she knows how to tug at the heart and soul of her fans...

  • Beautiful video.

    The film was amazing, no?

  • Great video! The music is perfect with it... I wait with impatience this movie!

  • I too have the feeling that this will be a movie I'm going to adore... I just can't wait! Well done anynimous. Thank You

  • what do you mean by australian lesbian?

  • Comment removed

  • Jane Campion is not a lesbian you dork. Apparently you know nothing about her. Besides that, she is from New Zealand. Also, why would you care if she was a lesbian anyway? What would that have to do with anything? You're an idiot!

  • Interesting video, but what peculiar written text.... such strange grammar and spelling. I assume the text isn't part of the film itself?

Sorry, "anyimous" probably isn't a native English speaker, and I'm being unfair to her/him.

  • whats the song?

    I love it

  • it´s from the movie "The Village"

  • I can't wait to see this film. Great, you've made this video :)

  • It's a beautiful video and very well made. Don't pay any attention to that dreadfull rude person. Well done anynimous!

  • I just made this video just cause I want to do it, nothing more if you are embarrassed for me, sorry

  • you and me share the love for Keats..I was haunted by his beautiful poems for years, translated a bunch of them to Persian, I used to have dreams of him (his image :)) He's quite a unique literary figure. Thanks for this wonderful video :)

  • I'm leaning on my trolley at 4:36!

  • well, all I can say, as you know, samuel is fanny brother

  • OMG, i can't wait untill this movie comes out. I think it is going to b awesome. But, i just want to know how big of a part is Samuel Brawne's?

  • I can not wait until this movie. I do hope Campion treats both Keats and Fanny well. Perhaps this movie will make Keats more accessible to people today.

  • I like your thoughts, very much looking forward to this movie.

  • I love Keats! I'm hoping that Jane Campion has taken her inspiration from his poems and worked really hard to give us a great film. He deserves for it to be.

"Beauty is truth, truth beauty," --that is all Ye know on earth, and all ye need to know.

  • the music is beautiful, what's the name of it?

  • Well all musics it´s from the movie "The village", the soundtrack is by James Newton Howard
