:( Dang.... I expected more from this pageant. I was disappointed at the song choice and choreography for the opening number, and the poorly made puletasi(or whatever that was supposed to be) . I guess nobody can do it like the real thing in SAMOA! lol. Love the effort though. Hopefully it can be better next year. Good luck! :)

Samoans in New Zealand think they know what's best. Prime example is the MSNZ committee who thought they could fool the Samoa Tourism Authority into going along with their fia poto plans. Sorry MSNZ, e le valea fo'i gei fagau.

omg I was so drunk on this night hahaha All I remember was how dumb the judges questions were like "How would you promote beauty in Samoa?" or something like that lol omg that was ridiculous, there should've been questions that will challenge the contestants thinking! And when Su'a William Sio won the trip to Samoa I stood up and said "WTF he already uses taxpayers money to go there and now you've just handed him another free ticket!" hahaha! Laban should've won by the way

Love you Meto :) Well deserved girlfriend!! Gotta agree with the choreography. That was bullsiki! The mix was beautiful, could've added in way more creativity with the actions. Its like they learnt it the night before. EHHHH! lol was a good night tho :)

@natiqo , in actual fact, the puletasi that won "best Puletasi" award at last years Miss Samoa pageant (In samoa) was more revealing than these so if the samoan judges are calling "That" a puletasi then who are we to judge what is and what isnt?

I own a lot of puletasi's, so I THINK that what they are wearing (the purple with the pink strip) doesn't look cultural at all. What is a puletasi without any cultural patterns? flowers? etc.. plain material sewed up in the style of a puletasi just doesn't cut it for me

Whoever taught their siva was not very good. Too many Tongan type actions/movements (I love Tongan dance btw).

@toleraannt i totally agree with you. too much of the Tongan actions. Isnt that what they should be looking at appointing someone who was raised and born in Samoa to be included in this Miss Samoa NZ.. It's Miss Samoa nt Miss Tonga or any other country.
