This episode makes me cry every time I think about it! Klan and Michael had such an adorable thing going throughout, and when she told him how she felt, I was sure they'd have a happy ending. But then...... :(

You know, Michael dying is bad enough, but I don't hear anyone mention President Glass. Cathy loosing her father and Frontier loosing its just and honest leader (who wanted to keep true to the goal of exploring other worlds) makes the episode even more tragic.

Episode 20 was quite obviously the most dramatic episode of the series.

@atomofish Anyone elses remember Henry Gideon? Without him dying in the first place, Alto wouldn't even get to be SMS pilot. Macross series may don't have many characters death, but when it comes to it, it always get dramatic, like Roy Focker, Guld Goa Bowman, Michael Blanc etc.

But so far, this is the saddest and most tragic death/episode in the Macross series yet. I miss Michael...

This is an excellent AMV tribute to Michel i especially love that you blocked out all the other sounds and just have Michel's voice saying "i love you" to Klan. and the ending with the guns firing is also very good. Two thumbs up from me.
