live albums are enhanced. that's not a knock on a successful band. there shouldn't be an argument about it. it is what it is. yes, the best versions from several shows are used to create the entire song. even live singing can be pitch corrected. a well known band is not going to put out garbage on something they sell for near 20 big ones. generally speaking, not every video clip might be from the same concert either ;)

This is not overdubbed. It all was recorded during the Light Grenades' tour and they chose the best sounding recordings for the DVD while putting videos of various different performances.

I don't think this DVD is overdubbed. I have seen then live a number of times and Brandon was extremely good every time. If you watch the entire DVD it doesn't seem overdubbed at all. He really is that good and that consistent

Also, this song isn't one of his toughest at all. Oil and Water is extremely difficult. Hitting B's consistently every single concert isn't easy, but he does it.

@aclotm098 Brandon is an excellent singer, every time I've seen Incubus play he's spot on... but this is definitely overdubbed. You should be hearing breath noises... pops and plosives... I know the SM58 very well and I know it's not that resistant to handling and breath noises.

i think its absolutelly possible to deliver this singing live. i own many audience recordings and many singers like john garcia or mike patton sang much more difficult and physically challenging stuff unbelievable good live.

And still u can be 100% sure any official live releases of signed bands are overdubbed.
