the main part is that he did a double lift, they thought that it was there choice on top of deck but the second to top card is the 3 of clubs so he did double lift :D

Double lift...the three of clubs was on top of the deck that was given to the guy and he makes his "prediction" in his deck a three of clubs. This is why he tells the guy not to look at the card he has selected, otherwise the trick would be garbage as it would not be a three of clubs...so, it doesn't matter what card the guy picks because david will pick up the three of clubs regardless as he executes the double lift...its amazing how easily people are amused.

Easy, its the triple flick back, then a double lifter finger palm. Once their attention is on the right hand, the left index finger, flicks the card fowards. A simple, fliptop backswitch, would do the same, but just doesn't look so good!
