I'm giving a YSA-FHE lesson tonight, and this is my song I'm trying to center my lesson on. I was trying to choose what song I should have with my lesson on Zion, and I was touched by this song as I read the lyrics. This song is TRULY inspired.

@justmormon ......take a deep breath, clear your thoughts of the negative, pray, ask other yw about the church times, go with a firm understanding that YOU are a daughter of God ! getting back into church will take some brave moves but YOU can make it. know that the iron rod is firm and there to hang on to during times of rough moments. be strong, be brave, be a daughter of God. good luck.you are in my prayers
Ah I sang in this. Best experience. The chorister, Sister Webb is out of control amazing. Side note - I always laugh at the girl at about 1:40 super over pronunciating and then it pans the to redhead girl, Madison, who's the total opposite. haha.
you don't need to sing with them to feel the spirit. Just listen to them and you can feel the spirit. The spirit is so strong here in my room right now that my heart feels ready to burst with love!

No, if you re-read what I've written, you can see that I haven't made any claim about 'the song being not as good'. It was a comment. I said that the tune is an Irish one, and there is also a catholic version of the song, which is the first christian version of the song.
Thank you so much for posting these! My daughters were privileged to sing in this choir and it was a fantastic experience for them. They will never forget it. As Zion's Youth in Latter Days is my favorite of the 4 songs they sang in the General Young Women Meeting.
