  • Pagan it certainly was not. But the decorations included lion heads, cheruvim, and other motifs. Simpletons are narrating this video, without any knowledge of Judaism.

  • If anyone is interested regarding archaeological excavations at the Temple Mount...

"Temple Location on the Mount in Jerusalem Part 1 of 6"

    watch?v=_UEQwx3L2wI

"Temple Mount, Dome of Rock, Real site over Gihon Spring"

    watch?v=lyXrshJ2kq0

  • @248thEvan we have not evolved no new organs in the body...

    love!!!

  • I do not believe it to be Pagan.

  • all nonsense they have no idea where it was .,first and foremost no water and water does not run up hill.,2nd was built on land used for threshing bought by david.,threshing done in valley not on mounts for obvious reasons.,and wailing wall part of herods construction not part of temple.,wailing wall became a holy place to the jews in and around 14-15 century before then never was of note.,

  • @beckersway

Your comments only display your own prejudices and ignorance.

  • I WANNE SEE THE WHOLE PART!!! :'(

But I can't I'm not trying to watch form inside the USA. :'(

    It's racism! :P

  • LOL! A degree in archeology but he hasn't read "The Bible Unearthed" by two Jewish archeologists who clearly show that the reason there is no temple from ANY excavations at the level where it should be expected, is because there never was a Solomon's temple. Much ado about nothing. Go read Finkelstein and Silberman's great book because this vid is pure fiction.

  • Finkelstein's work is brilliant! I agree! I don't think his work supports that conclusion there is NO evidence of a first Temple. Maybe built later than 10th c BCE. But Finkelstein doesn't claim it never existed. Eliat Mazar's new finds in Jerusalem support the idea that early Judahite Jerusalem was more organized and larger than Finkelstein's conclusions.

  • ummmm i hate to burst your bubble but um they have found proof and a new dig ,,,,,,check out [ king solomons tablets] and theres more

  • I think NOVA did a great job consulting archaeologists and reproducing the city of David in 3D render-- As it looked in the time of king Solomon 3000 years ago. A small but fortified walled city of 15 acres in size, with 2,000 inhabitants.

  • i liked the intro NOVA nice colors
