Heyy. Another video that only shows and doesn't tell the solo. Dammit the tabs for it on sites suck and I can't find one goddamn video on how to play it.
Excellent! I can tell you learned it by ear, much like I did. We play the same notes, but sometimes at different frets. I find many of the leads sound really good on the neck pickup too! Keep on Rockin!

Not so sound rude...I watched this video once...12 minutes later...i could play this solo...if you know how it sounds...you know the solo...its perfecting it that is challenging...KEEP ON ROCKIN DUDE! praise boston

I found the backing track of this song for guitar. It's cool because it's from the original master without guitars. I just finished adding my own guitar and it turned out ok. check out my vid.
@cichlidkeeper89 Interesting... I figure them out by LISTENING to them... but I make the videos so others can learn by watching them, so I guess all is well. :)
i can figure songs out by listening too..... but theres a comment on here, that says "dude great job but...well who can really play this from just watching it its like impossible but it was flawless" i was merely stating that its NOT impossible to learn a song by watching.lol
o.0 omfg I shit my pants at 1:21. The tone is unbelievably perfect, plus the way it's played sounds EXACTLY like Boston's recording. Btw, who in the hell could actually learn this solo from watching this? No offense, but without detailed instructions learning this solo by just watching alone seems a bit... impossible? Nevertheless it's played nearly flawlessly with all of the parts added together, very impressive.
boston has the best and most unique sounding guitars in the history of rock music...hands down. dont wanna hear any arguements because everybody knows its true. amen...
@truemetalist89 A is for Absolutely! M is for Many thumbs up for stating the obvious :D!!! E is for Everyone who disagrees can suck ut! N is for NOBODY compares to Boston!
It's still too hard to learn, you should actually play the solo in slow motion rather than editing it in, and you should really explain it slow and clearly also.
Wow, that's amazing. I've been playing for a couple of months, and so far no lessons to my name. I've just figured everything I know pretty much by ear or youtube
and I was wondering, could you post a video of the first part of the solo slowed please?
Just distortion and compression. I'm playing through a Johnson J-Station into my computer. It's an amp emulator for recording that I bought about 10 years ago.

It's just a 1997 Gibson SG Standard. They still make the exact same guitar though. You can see it at musiciansfriend . com, if interested. Thanks
