  • Heyy. Another video that only shows and doesn't tell the solo. Dammit the tabs for it on sites suck and I can't find one goddamn video on how to play it.

  • You dont help me learn this song :(

  • plz upload all solo parts of peace of mind with slow-mo

  • thank you so much.

  • Excellent! I can tell you learned it by ear, much like I did. We play the same notes, but sometimes at different frets. I find many of the leads sound really good on the neck pickup too! Keep on Rockin!

  • The slo-mo sounds like a really sad ballad :L

  • @playguitarsolos Cheap azz people,

    ALWAYS WANT SOMETHING FOR NOTHING..

    YOUR TOO NICE TOM.

hey did you do boston smoking, coming home, and swamp music skynyrd

  • i saw boston play this in concert, it was crazy. awesome song.

  • dude great job but...well who can really play this from just watching it its like impossible but it was flawless

  • i can figure out a song by watching it.

  • @cichlidkeeper89 Interesting... I figure them out by LISTENING to them... but I make the videos so others can learn by watching them, so I guess all is well. :)

  • That was too groovy fer sure.

Never got to see em. They were truly unique,

    as truemetalist89 said.

Great job all around on this vid. Leftys can learn it easier cause it's like lookin in a mirror. I will have fun trying.

  • o.0 omfg I shit my pants at 1:21. The tone is unbelievably perfect, plus the way it's played sounds EXACTLY like Boston's recording. Btw, who in the hell could actually learn this solo from watching this? No offense, but without detailed instructions learning this solo by just watching alone seems a bit... impossible? Nevertheless it's played nearly flawlessly with all of the parts added together, very impressive.

  • it's not that hard. just mimic!

  • Great job. What people don't realize nowadays is that guitars never sounded like that before Boston.

  • pl8n tihs song looks liek fun :D

  • boston has the best and most unique sounding guitars in the history of rock music...hands down. dont wanna hear any arguements because everybody knows its true. amen...

  • Just get a Scholtz Rockman. Done.

    :p

  • @truemetalist89 A is for Absolutely! M is for Many thumbs up for stating the obvious :D!!! E is for Everyone who disagrees can suck ut! N is for NOBODY compares to Boston!

    AMEN Brother!

  • i need solo part 1 in slowmo.

the slowmo part on here is easy

  • harmony 4tw

  • It's still too hard to learn, you should actually play the solo in slow motion rather than editing it in, and you should really explain it slow and clearly also.

  • aw man. ive always wanted to learn this song!!!!

  • sweet. Now i see whats goin on....you make it so clean to. Great job.!!~ ty

  • Can you break it down more to Barney style.

  • Can you play Kiss The Girl by Ashley Tisdale?

  • NIcE!!!! i love that layered sound!!

  • This is fucked up!!!

I'm still probalby too lazy to sit there and learn this... but thank you!

    G

  • Thanks for posting this, very helpful just listening to your guitar louder than the band as in the original recording.

  • Key of E Major I believe

  • what key is this song in? C#minor?

  • lol guy above said E major but its the same as C# minor

  • One word... NASTY!!! that was awesome.

  • Great playing. What kind of effects are your using?

  • could you tab that out for me and send that to me

what video editor did u use cuz thatz awesome

I wish I could play like that

  • Can i have the tabs for this???? Nice job dude

  • thats one SENSTATIONAL video

  • I have to ask. What kinda guitar is that?

  • It's just a 1997 Gibson SG Standard. They still make the exact same guitar though. You can see it at musiciansfriend . com, if interested. Thanks

  • Wow, that's amazing. I've been playing for a couple of months, and so far no lessons to my name. I've just figured everything I know pretty much by ear or youtube

and I was wondering, could you post a video of the first part of the solo slowed please?

  • where did u get the tab for the slow part?

  • There is no tab. I figure it out by ear. Thanks

  • What effects/amp do you use to get your sound on this one?

  • Just distortion and compression. I'm playing through a Johnson J-Station into my computer. It's an amp emulator for recording that I bought about 10 years ago.

  • what kind of guitar is that

  • you cant tell an SG when you see one?

  • waht?

  • Just a Gibson SG Standard, made in 1997.
