Mugen community, you do not have the right to: Claim a character as your own, even if you modded it. 2- tell people what to upload/download/distribute... the chars are not yours to claim by law. They already belong to someone like capcom. 3- This is a non profitable business, so you don't own shit, you don't even own a god dam box. 4- Stop crying over people editing and redistributing chars, it's only a virtual game. 5- Stop being so nerdy defensive over a virtual game.

Nobody really said they truly own the character as in officially, they mean their edits are their own, I think they know damn well that those characters aren't actually theirs. I mean, for example I'm making Mega Man X, and I know I don't own him in any way but I know the editing I took my time to do should be credited in some way.

BTW, do you know how hard it is to edit a character from the SF, vs, games? PRETTY DAMN HARD!

I don't need to be making the world a better place to receive credit for editing, nor do I want a medal for editing (that's ridiculous...unless you mean the community in general). I merely edit characters for the fun of it, and when/if I distribute the edited characters, (Obviously free of charge) then I don't want others thinking they can just walk off saying it's theirs and people believing them. That's all (I like brackets).
