  • Sam Hinton is so amazing -- he welcomed me to UCSD in 1978 where he was in charge of the SIO aquarium. A real renaissance man! I will always remember this wonderful scientist and artist.

  • I feel so honored to have learned songs from this man at the various folk festivals we went to over the years. Sam was a national treasure and an amazing, humble man who always had great stories and songs, and time for everyone.

  • Rest in peace, Sam Hinton

  • Yes, thank you, very much, for this series. Priceless and so important for the preservation of our musical heritage. Thank you!!

  • yeh really good stuff

  • Thank you so much for this great series of videos! Even though I don't play harmonica, I enjoyed it very much. I love the personal touch, and the musicality that runs through the whole thing. All the techniques serve the music, instead of the other way around. Truly special stuff.
