The 5 dislikes ofor this video are probably the ones that think this is not real music. You know the ones that like the groups that take snipits of other songs and distort it in the studio then talk instead of sing. This is one of the best blue grass groups. And they do not deserve the dilikes.

Such a complex song. I think it has multiple interpretations depending on the listener. Personally I think the song is about falling in love with someone who you know will never settle down. The line “I bet your luck won’t follow me” I think hints at something has gone on between them and she’s lamenting that his leaving is going to be rough on her. There is also this subtle tone of longing, wishing to be more like him and able to live in the moment. Thumbs up if you've been the unlucky one.

He is a playboy and has no idea what he's doing other than relying on charm to get lucky...and in the end it won't work on her as his luck won't follow her. She's so soft though it doesn't come off as an insult.
