  • When the video starts it's at Long Beach Blvd. and Willow St. I know this cause i lived in Long Beach which I miss a lot. =(

  • ME TOOO

  • i miss cailfornia!

  • You lived in Long Beach!? Me too! I moved to Colorado just last year and when i was young my mom always went to L.A. to do some taxes I think and we always rode the blue line metro and then we rode the subway at L.A.

  • i lived in .L.A. but i went to school in long beach

  • That's cool. I lived in Long Beach and went to school in Lakewood. My friend use to live in L.A. and he moved to Long Beach but he took the metro cause he kept going to school in L.A. He didn't like the schools in Long Beach.

  • i like taking my mom to hollywood and highland form long beach and once we go underground ont he blue line we know were in

LA then need to take the red line, i hope they end up makeing the Red line to the sea

  • I agree. The LONG LONG LONG range plan is to extend the Red Line to Santa Monica.

  • according to wiki, it will cost a sales tax of 0.5% of Los angeles county over the next 30 years for purple line extension

i don't think that will worth it

  • >>dansayeyo

True, Measure R won't cover everything (especially when people like myself want to see the Gold Line Foothill Extension first), which is why federal money usually makes up part of the funds. About half the Red Line's construction costs were federal. Also, by current estimates (LA Times), it might take up to 2032 for the "Subway to the Sea" to be completed :-(.

  • @longbeachlt Well, now they're building the Expo Line, which goes from Downtown to Santa Monica. Phase 1, which is from 7th Street/Metro Center to Culver City, will be opening next year. Phase 2 won't be finished until either 2014 or 2015.

  • Only to set up the camera, but my father had to stand behind the window during the shot.

  • DID THE DRIVER LET U IN THE CAB

  • My father put the camera in the cab and then he had to let it go. Salaam stood behind the cab window during the ride. By law, while the train is in operation, no one can be in the cab except personnel of MTA or Police.
