Someone make the bloody movie already. There are enough subplots and individual stories surrounding the battle to create an epic film. So many possiblities..But then again, those who appreciate the era of sailing warships do not make up your typical movie going crowd.
Wow, the shots hitting the rear of the french ship at 0:30 ro 0:40 looks amazing... wish they would make a great game with ship warfare in this era, Napoleon Total War didn't do it for me sadly :-/
@dquinn2271 This wor is very long to prepare, more or less 50 hours, you now many things of the progams, and them to render the proyecto take many hours. An other time, is a impresionant work. Congratulations.
What is the title of this documentary? Apparently the link goes to the site of the company responsible for the CGI, but there are clips there of a full episode. What is its title?
Honestly I don't know what the title of the doc became or how the animation was eventually used. "TRAFALGAR" was the working title at the time, though.
As the Victory went into the french line, before it could fire all of its broad-side on port, she collided with anothe french ship which pushed he off course.
I also read that their masts became entangled, and moments later Nelson was shot. I wanted to show that part pretty bad, but I was out of time as far as the budget goes.
Thank you for the keen interest and the kind words. I hope to re-do this entire sequence in time, and carry the action more into the battle itself.

The masts tangled slightly afterwards and yea Nelson was walking around motivating the men on the top deck with the Captain then he got shot.
Plz do, you'll end up making a small film
