Great music, great lyrics, great personality, great human being...
Thanks for all that you have done for the humanity...Your music has touched me when I was in the refugee camp in Nong Khai, Thailand. I know very little English then, but I learned from trying to sing after the cassette tape my friend gave me. Your music has changed my life for the good for ever...
Thanks from the bottom of my heart. (from a person who was born in the jungle of the tropical rain forest.)
Thanks for this touching tribute to John. Your love and respect for the man, his music, and his beliefs are obvious. I hope that John's music and his causes will continue to resonate for generations to come. Our society needs many, many more who can impact the world in such a positive way.
I like the way that you did all 4 tributes to John and the pictures you chose and the music you selected and the things John had to say ...at the end of the 4th one it is sad cz it really is goodbye..glad he left us with his music...thanks for the time you put into this ...wonderful!!!
A lot of people seemed to think when JD was no longer 'cool',it was fine to drop him faster than a lunch tray in a cafeteria.Jerry Weintraub,Frank Sinatra,Aspen, the We are the World organizers clearly had no sense of grace or manners.
To Ray Martin's & Johnny Carson's credit, they had John on their programs when it was no longer 'hip' to do so.Class acts, both of 'em.
He was treated SO badly by those who could not longer get anything from being connected with him..his TRUE friends, the ones who KNEW the man and his talent and who he REALLY was..appreciated him till we all suffered his loss...like Ray Martin and Johnny Carson...CLASS ACTS IS RIGHT!!!

Thanks to my dad I was lucky enough to see him live in Australia as a child in 77 and as a teenager in 83.
Although at the time I didn't fully appreciate how great he was and also how far ahead of his time he was.
JD always gets airplay on any radio show I present.

Anyone know the name of the non-JD song at the end?)"Farewell my Music -maker")?
It's lovely.

Thanks for your heartfelt comments on JD. Look up (jay donohoe, john denver tribute) on YouTube and you'll find the song. Cheers, Dave.

Very nice!!! It's awful the way Frank Sinatra left JD of his album of duets, too.. and they were good friends. There WAS no excuse for that!!!!
