  • Massoftwoshits

  • Haha... This is hilarious!!! I always ask my Mom to say Massachusetts... Tihihi... I enjoy people stumbling over it... Grin... ;)

  • @tedirgene:

  • @McBortis I am German and I can say this ;)

Really hard words are easy to learn; for me at least xD

  • Massive-two-shits.

  • i like this add!

  • you think thats hard? get them to say "Paak the caa in thaa haavaad yaad"

  • @TheMaridPrincess i say it fine

  • It's ok we /Americans/ need to rethink how we say massachusetts

  • I say it Maza-shoe-shets. c:

  • Im German and I can't say massachusetts right. I say it like this:messatochets

  • @tylorboy6 "Mah-sah-choo-sehts" is how we say it here in Massa :)

  • omg! at 0:15 the guy sounds like Christopher Walken!

  • I can't say it D:

  • i have no problem saying it. just like someone that is from MASSACHUSETTS. what's the matter guys? I can also pronounce the "TH" perfectly even though I'm German. Lazy tongue much?

  • Ah Karlsruhe! Schon viel besser!

  • americans cant spell it either

  • @DeirdreMac12345 i fuckin cant, i say it maschachatisutish lol wtf

  • haha hilariouse

  • this video if fuckin hilarious!!! very funny!!!

    greetings from italy :)

  • ROFL xD

  • Nette Werbung^^

  • lmao hahah the guy at 11

  • Karlsrueh ? Karlshure ? Karlsruhe ? Just say Massachusetts !

  • nunhej wer will chattn ich ben so gelangweilt ^^ wer will meldet sich

  • ah don't feel bad Germans, Americans can't pronounce it right either.

  • @MissPerish9210 haha yeah the spelling is even harder!

  • @MissPerish9210 oh please 3 ppl in the vid got it right come on why does it matter?

  • @MissPerish9210 i can... i live here...

  • kağls- uğvı :)

  • I really hope this becomes a regular series where they travel around the world and get people to screw up words from foreign languages. How awesome would that be?

  • massa frau blucher!

  • KIT can suck MIT's giant cock

  • I'm afraid KIT can't, it's to tiny. It obviously took its mouth to full! Haha! I study there btw, I think its embarrassing!

  • @FlotteLotte85 I'm thinking about going there. How is the education?

  • Any language is hard to learn, but English took much time to provide the right inflexion, more then the German language. I would commend them for taking the time to attempt a word in a different language then what they were raised with.

  • ok now you sound much like a moron...

    do u even speak german?

also massachusomething is imossible to pronounce without hearing the right pronounciation first...

    like Hubschrauber is for you

btw im german aswell and i bet i speak better english than you do any other language...

  • I stated that I commend them for taking the time to try say it. My learnings in both English and German are about equal and I would not claim proficiency in them compared to a native speaker of said languages. My native language is Vietnamese. If there are any mistakes in my use of English please feel free to PM me so I could be corrected. Thank you.

  • omg fucking massa....... who the hell give to this fucking shit place this fucking name!>?????????

    fucking massu,..............?

  • Sorry, no. German is one of the easiest languages to learn. Easier than English, I'm sure.

  • Nah, English is way easier.

You have to learn way more grammar.

  • I disagree. In terms of consistency, German grammar is WAY ahead of English. English has more exceptions and special cases than you can count. It's also probably more affected by memetic mutation than any other language; not many have changed as much as English has in the past 100 years.

  • @MyNameIsBucket English, as my English proffessor put it, the english language has been 'basterdized' over the past few hundred years. I tend to think that 1066 was the turning point on the english language, when the Normans came to England they changed the English language and made it more 'latinized'. If the Normans never took over England then I bet English would sound closer to dutch or danish.

  • @seamuspowers if you're not familiar with proposals for english spelling reform, look some up. it's CRAZY how much more germanic english LOOKS in print when you phoneticize it.

  • @MyNameIsBucket for a Germanic speaker? I would think english speakers, german speakers, dutch speakers would have an easy time learning each other languages because they are all germanic languages. Where as someone who would speak a latin language or cyrillic language would have difficulty learning a germanic language.

  • wtf? I come from karlsruhe^^ but I don't know, why nobody can say massachusetts? (ok, don't know, how to write, but I can speak! lol)

they could make a better spot than this -.-

  • the fact that it only shows 4 german pronouncing Karlsruhe worries me more than the rest not knowing how to say MIT.

..does the laughing german guy don't know how to pronounce karlsruhe?

    haha... i'm just kiddin'

  • Please search:" Colbinger never say never"its a great new german Musiker.

    Vote Please!!!THX

  • are they trying to make fun of MIT?

  • They are trying to say that the karlsruhe institue of Technology is opening in germany and that there is no need to go to a school that you cant spell the name of...makes sense doesnt it?

  • Except for the fact MIT probably makes this place look worse than ITT Tech by comparison.

  • What is ITT tech?? I guess the fact that I dont know about it says it all...u r right.

  • ITT is a school where dropouts can get some job skills so they don't have to work at wal-mart until age 90. Too bad all the jobs one could get with a degree from there are now being done for $12/day in SE Asia.

Thank God for MIT's Open Course Ware.

  • massatwoshits represent im from shityouate how about you?

  • Down Syndrome man.. in the woods..on my channel..check it outt

  • Massachusetts is a native american word meaning : "Great hill people". It is not English in origin

  • its taxachusetts

  • haha it is. Fucking taxes are killing me in Boston! Food taxes is now almost 7 percent :S

  • Oh my. Try living in Texas (Tax us?) where the general sales tax is 7.75% That does include food (and everything else we buy).

  • try living in germany: 19%

  • SEX

  • Happy Oktoberfest!

  • Is like asking a non-spanish speaking person to say "otorrinolaringologo" or "huitzilopochtli" LOL

  • Not really... MA is a hell of a lot simpler than those two. But some of those guys got pretty close

  • wow

  • they all look like ex nazis

  • i am American and I cant even fuckin say Massachusetts..look at Jessica Simpson too lmao not hate towards another race trying to say the damn word!

  • their not dumb, its just a dif. language. Its just a funny video people no need to get all riled up

  • LOL WHITE PEOPLE

  • pronunciation of English is no test of intelligence.

    e.g.: Worcester.

  • I saw a show in Worcester, MA and the Finnish metal band had the best pronunciation of Worcester ever! They said it like "WOOR-CESS-TORR" it was very \m/

  • ground it, pound it, slam it and jam it. thats my motto you wussy boys

  • I'm sure I can come up with countless geographical names from around the world you wouldn't be able to pronounce correctly. And that would not make you a dumb American. (Then again, Americans butcher "Beijing" every time they use it, although it was introduced precisely so that speakers of English would know how to pronounce it correctly.)

  • wtf?

You try to say Karlsruher or Medvedev, haven't heard one of you saying it once correctly.

    dumb americans

  • it has nothing to do with intelligence. Different languages require different sounds, so a Dutch person has trouble with English words, and an American would have trouble with a Dutch word. Its biology, not intelligence.

  • my dutch and english are both super perfect. why pick on the dutch ppl? go pick on the fench!

  • the people shown above are not Dutch, they're German. In The Netherlands they speak Dutch in Germany they speak Deutsch/German...simple as that

  • ik weet dat............................. but the guy i left a comment on was saying that us dutch people have trouble saying english words but thts not true

Of bijv th.

  • their are other countries besides america?

    wtf

  • At least I was only robbed of 48 seconds

  • And you robbed yourself of some more, apparently.

  • Me too. Except for this other 15 sec responding to you

  • boring

  • Next we will see something even funnier. American will now try to locate Germany on a map, of Germany.

  • LMAO! :)

  • Genius! lol

  • Yawn. Believe it or not, we learn geography in school, scheissekopf. Oh, and many of our parents or grandparents fought in the war, so, yeah, we f'in know where Deutschland is. Idiot.

  • Insults are always more effective when the person doing the insulting actually pronounces / spells the insult correctly. You're the idiot.

  • Wow, I didn't realize pronunciation came through in text. I guess insults are more effective when the one doing the insults actually makes sense. =D

My apologies, I don't speak Deutsch. I can spell shithead correctly in English, though. :P

  • Hey Americans!! try saying Medvedev.. lol

  • And let Hillary host the competition. :-)

  • Med VED diev. We aren't all as dumb as Hillary Clinton. stereotypes are ridiculous. just because the idiots of America love getting on camera doesn't mean we all have the same intelligence level.

  • I live in Massachusetts WOOOOO

  • SAME MAN! LOL
